            So our local group is having a Vengeance Booster Draft and I haven't played since last summer and have definitely not tried out the Vengeance pieces. I have to make a squad out of the following pieces and use these rules.
  150pts, faction rules do not apply, Gambit rules do apply ( 5pts or higher ) 60 minute rounds.

  Booster draft pull consists of 2 rares, 4 uncommons, 8 commons;
  Cost	Name
  40	Carnor Jax 27	Etain Tur-Mukan 26	Covenant Hand 21	A-DSD Advanced Dwarf Spider Droid 10	Defel Pirate 18	Felucian Shaman 24	Zann Consortium Defiler 11	Death Watch Saboteur 29	Yuuzhan Vong Droid Hunter 20	Yuuzhan Vong Hunter on Quednak 9	Jedi-Sith Clones 8	Bothan Saboteur 22	Nimbus Commando 20	Old Republic Trooper

  I have ideas but just for fun, since its a new set, I thought I'd ask others opinions. No one has a CE worth a darn, I'm on the fence about the Quednak, the Trooper is a no brainer and I like the Sabateur's but should I go with the Spider droid and YV Droid Hunter ...the Defiler and Nimbus are also seriously on my radar ... but that's 155. Am I missing something I should be looking at, if not who goes?
  Ideas??

            I think you have a lot of pretty solid pieces to choose from.
  Although the payoff would probably not be worth the cost, I could potentially see Etain's commander effect being useful for the Death Watch Saboteur (because of Cloaked, I think he'd be more effective than most at providing combined fire).
  Of the list you've got, I would probably consider the Zann Defiler to be one of the best choices. Although the OR Trooper has Triple Attack, he's got to stand still to use it. For a few points more, the Defiler has Twin Attack, and if he can stand still, he has potential damage output comparable to the ORT. If you can fit 'em both, great. If not, consider the ZCT.
  Between the ZCT and Bothan Saboteur, you've got two different options for Proximity Mines, which is a great opportunity to mess with the enemy.

            Bad news is you basically have no synergy available. Good news is that makes squadbuilding easier - just take the best stand-alone pieces.
  Here's my recommendation (without working on it too hard): 40 Carnor Jax 26 Covenant Hand 24 Zann Consortium Defiler 21 Spider Droid 20 OR Trooper 11 Death Watch Saboteur 8 Bothan Saboteur
  Fitting in either Vong piece would also be fine. I think the Zann Consortium Defiler is the top piece there, though. He's a must-include.

            I think that including the Defel Pirate would be a good choice, because those little guys can be annoying, just keep him away from your guys, and move him towards the enemies. Just my style in Booster Drafts, I go for mostly shooter, unless you have melee synergy. So, I would probably not use Carnor Jax or Etain, but if you were going to pick one, go for Jax, because his initiative reroll is helpful for those needed initiative wins. Take the Defiler and the Bothan for double Mines. Depending on your luck, and how you use him, the Covenant Hand can be a deadly Force ( ). The Death Watch guy is good, but I NEVER play any Death Watch pieces (although I may have to revise my opinion with the new Death Watch pieces). My Squad would be: 24 Defiler 10 Defel Pirate 8 Bothan Saboteur 20 Hunter on Quednak 26 Covenant Hand 40 Carnor Jax 21 A-DSD
