Sith Reflexes;

Card Text

Once per turn, when damaged by an attack from an enemy, this character may immediately use a replaces attacks Force Power.

Can this special ability be used in response to a character with Force Immunity that damages the character with an attack?

Force Immunity;

Glossary Text

Other characters cannot spend Force points to affect this character, to reroll attacks against it, or to respond to its attacks and abilities. This character does not count for purposes of Force powers that affect multiple characters, such as Force Lightning or Shockwave--select a different character instead.

I believe this has been ruled that you can. It's a technical thing...you aren't spending the Force in response to the damage (like if it were counterpush) but as a result of the ability. But somebody else should confirm.

Yes, that's how it works.

It's another one of those rulings that's quite counter-intuitive and also probably opposite of how it should work (since you've never been able to use the Force to respond to anything they do), but because of X, Y, and Z, this is how it works.

Yeah, I gotcha. Just seems like another strange, head scratching ability that makes certain characters better than most, especially a 42 pt "Rock" character, that already has an incredibly strong defensive special ability. Like he needs this one, adding insult to injury.
With "Sith Rage" and Bandon, he's most likely doing 80 dmg on the move, making him a powerful offensive piece as well.

Wizards always balanced the really powerful defensive minis with weaker offense, and vice versa, the powerful offensive pieces were weaker defensively. I do not understand why this aspect changed after Wizards, with "certain" characters Scared Confused .
