While my request is under review by the moderators I've disabled the Bloo2MM software and took the SWM resources I've made offline. I won't tolerate favoritism here. There was a disagreement in a thread yesterday and the thread was locked. If that's the end of it, fine, but it spilled over some to a new thread that got stickied. If the new thread is just an objective FAQ then fine, but it's not. I have no problem just continuing work for my local play group; I don't need to share it here.

I am reposting bkchi's post that I cleaned from:

"Destiny of the Force (V-Set)! Let me answer this question in one thread!"

I am reposting this so that Bloomilk members can see what has led to bkchi taking the action he has. His request will be reviewed by the mods (plural). Until some of the other mods have had a chance to discuss it, no action will be taken.

Alright, I'll ask nicely again. I asked that you guys not take sides, and was told that you wouldn't. This isn't supposed to be a continuation of the previous, locked thread. The content was supposed to be edited to keep this informative and objective. I asked that the original post be trimmed to remove:

I am really tired of seeing some guys that have decided they dont like what is being done and then misleading others on what is actually going on.

My request was ignored and deleted. Kindly reconsider my request.

I made an error while copying posts before I deleted them, and lost dnemiller's response in the process.

The jist of what Dean said in his response was that there is no spillover of an argument from a thread from yesterday, and that misinformation has been posted in multiple places on multiple sites by multiple people.

HEAR THIS: The mod team is NOT taking sides in these arguments. We do our best to be fair, but at the end of the day we will do whatever is necessary to keep the peace on these forums. For that reason, I have locked this thread, lest it turn into what went on yesterday.

I can see how the favoritism claim can be made, even just by looking at my color on gamers. I will say, I have not changed how I've been modding since I was asked to help a bit with the virtual sets.

Bktchi may have some issue with how dnemiller phrased his post, but the fact is, it is true that some members have tried to mislead others about the V set project in order to get it shut down. It is sadly an ugly side of the community, that we have had to deal with.

Keep in mind, when you keep harping on the same point, in a similar manner to those trying to get it stopped, it is going to cause a bit of a spillover. Keep in mind, going on a crusade against this project puts you in the same camp as those who have threatened physical violence, threatened to frame this site for child porn, has impersonated various members, whether through screen names or abuse of editing powers, and has wished various forms of harm to a wide variety of members (from getting a deadly disease to telling them to commit suicide).

There are those with genuine concerns and criticisms. You are free to use the project or add it to whatever program you want. Not all of the people fall into the category as those shameful users. I assure you the mod team is attempting to mod as fairly as possible. If you have an issue with a mod, please bring it up with Shinja or another mod. Publically calling out the mods is not acceptable.

And a word of warning, my patience has run out with all parties.
