I find going to an aquarium very calming and peaceful. I wish they weren't so expensive or I'd go more often.
As for actually owning a fish, I've thought about it from time to time. My brother used to breed and sell exotic fish and I always marveled at the type he would get. Having cats and not much space to hold and small tank, I realized there was no real way for me to do it.

I'm currently running 9 tanks and breeding angels and gudgeons.
