So what star wars books, comics, storylines, etc, would you want to see as a movie, and or tv series? Personally I would looove to see Tales of the Jedi on the big screen! Just imagine how awesome the duel in the senate with Exar vs Vodo would be!!!

I think the Thrawn Trilogy would be great. And even the X Wing books.

Nothing because some how it would hurt my childhood memories no matter who works on it.  now thats out the way, I think either the Thrawn Trilogy or the Darth Bane novels

What we need is to wind the clock back 30 years and get George Lucas then to start churning out more films, else he would ruin them - oh look, what happened?
There is a lot of potential though for awesome films, I just would not trust GL with them now.
A full length feature film of Shadows of the Empire would be amazing. The X-Wing books would make a stunning series of 1 hour episodes.
The Thrawn Trilogy would be a good film, or maybe something longer and split up.
I think there is also enormous potential for a Jedi Academy tv show, incorporating the JA series and I Jedi (a good follow on from X-Wing).
And no kidding, a series of BSG length covering the Vong invasion would also be epic.
Also, a tv series of the tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina and other books would be awesome too, showing many different characters. Maybe just small webisodes about each one.
But who would I trust with these films? If only Peter Jackson was also an epic Star Wars fan - we need soemone of talent who is a real fanboy, it has proven to lead to stunning results.
