Special Abilities

  • Unique. Twin Attack. Flight. Mobile Attack.
  • Accurate Shot (Can attack an enemy with cover even if it's not the nearest enemy)
  • Advantageous Attack (+10 Damage against an enemy who has not activated this round)
  • Avoid Defeat (Whenever this character would be defeated, make 2 saves, each needing 11; if both succeed, this character has 10 Hit Points instead of being defeated)
  • Beskar'gam (When this character takes damage, he reduces the damage dealt by 10 with a save of 11)
  • Bounty Hunter +6 (+6 Attack against Unique enemies)
  • Strafe Attack (As this character moves, he can attack each enemy whose space he enters; this character can use Twin Attack when making a Strafe Attack, but he cannot make a Strafe Attack against any enemy twice and cannot move directly back into a space he has just left. This ability is usable only on this character's turn.)

"Trust is hard, among enemies. Perhaps we should return to the battle; perhaps, Han Solo, we should let fly, and once more let fate decide who will survive, as we did when we were young."

This is my interpretation of a sub-Epic Boba Fett. You will recognize elements from several existing Boba's with a little something new to make him stand out. He is tough, and a serious damage dealer, but is he priced accordingly? Feedback is welcome!

do you think he should have evade? Also he only has 110 hp and costs 85 so may add a few more hp.

Hmm, good points. He does have Beskar'gam, but Evade might be warranted.

In the interest of not having a 1,000 saves per turn, I opted for a few more HPs. Thanks for the input!

Well done, well done indeed. Strafe Attack is certainly new, and it's inclusion is justified. This version seems to do nearly everything that the previous versions did, and more as well (exlcuding Net Gun, Flamethrower, and Disintegration, though Strafe certainly makes up for this). I like it, but I have the impression that he may have one-too-many abilities. Perhaps it's just me, though.

Yeah, his card would need to be Epic-sized to fit all that text. I might drop Missiles 30 to make him a focused shooter.

Love the strafe attack. Really forces your opponent to get creative on how to defeat him.

Well, you can shorten some abilities. Mobile Attack, Twin Attack is a much used space saver. He doesn't count as Mandalorian, does he? Was that defined, as just SA or "Name Contains," in the new glossary?

Combined Unique, Twin Attack, Mobile Attack and Flight into one SA to clean up the "card".

Really cool piece. you get your 85 points worth. Him in a mando squad with their other super strafe piece may get a little crazy. Cunning Strafe is just scary to think about. but he only moves 12 unless towed by R2-D2.... scary good but imagine the possibilities with R2-D2 and Gen-skywalker. /me rubs hands together like a mad scientist...

Thanks, donnyrides. I thought of Strafe for Fett based on Battlefronts. He can deal a ton of damage, but is 85 points and relatively fragile for the price. Plus, those 85 points prevent a lot of super boosts in a 200 point squad.

Perhaps I should swap Cunning for Advantageous. Cunning + BH6 + 10 Atk = +20 Atk. Even for Fett, that seems too high for a non-Epic.

I like that idea.

Thanks for the feeback again! Made the change. Now he maxes at +16 Atk and a base +10 gives him a bit of weakness against non-Uniques.

Strafe Attack is unexpected. I think the high cost is warranted, now put him in the Sith for some fp's via SidoGram to up his speed and give him some reroll options.

I think there is a lot going on here, strafe is certainly fresh but I would almost up the cost to 100 and flesh out with appropriate stats/abilities for that level as a twin strafe beat stick is pretty intense; especially being fringe and a follower. Some options to stay at same cost is to drop twin/cost or add a token CE to at least decrease the amount of CEs he can receive. But he is balanced on his own, well designed piece. It's just fringe and follower make this guy a powder keg of potential unbalance
