Special Abilities

  • Droid (Immune to critical hits; not subject to commander effects)
  • Twin Attack (Whenever this character attacks, it makes 1 extra attack against the same target)
  • Advanced Armor (Whenever this character takes damage, he reduces the damage by 10 with a save of 6.)
  • Cortosis Weave 20 (Whenever this character rolls 20 or better on a save to reduce the damage dealt by an adjacent enemy with a lightsaber, that enemy gets -20 Damage for the rest of the skirmish)

Cortisis SBDs were used on a Separatist raid of the Jedi temple, and while they proved more effective against Jedi, the overall cost of the unit prevented any further production.

Well when the standard is 4-8 points that's almost triple the costs, Nute's gotta pay bills now

This is pretty sweet, wouldn't damage reduction work essentially the same as Advanced Armor though?

... and since 11 isn't prohibitive, he's costing closer to 21 anyway ..... he's 16 with just droid/Twin.

The problem spry was damage reduction you don't roll dice and it doesn't stop a Lightsaber from working since it ignores DR. I could give it parry instead but their entire body was coated in the armor. I'll drop the HP and stats a touch.

I'm assuming Surf you mean "with his current stats AND twin/Droid" as the B2 is about the same as this guy but with damage reduction and charging, arguably better then this guys abilities. I actually would have a very hard time choosing these guys over the B2 as is. With stats reduced to be more in line with the B2 I wouldn't mind seeing how you break his cost down now. Always fun watching your mind work.
