  • Intuition (Once per round, after initiative is determined, this character can immediately move up to his speed before any other character activates)

"Obi-Wan Kenobi. Obi-Wan... Now, that's a name I've not heard in a long time..."

Now you may be looking at the title, then at the powers and saying "negotiator what?". This is just ben when he's old, training luke, fighting a few old nemesis sith, sneaking around the Death Star, and just other normal old hermit stuff. The Negotiator is just his old title, which he garnered for numerous reasons. Intuition because of his ability to sense with the force, and his nack for careful, patient planning and strategy. Light Tutor obviously is because of him training luke. LS sweep represents his favored spin move in combat, you know what Noble Sacrifice is for ;)...

... Soresu Syle instead of Mastery, because he was a bit out of practice when facing Vader, because of his age. He was very good at force push, but I didn't want to give him such an expensive ability as FP3 (3 force points) with his limited force points, and since he had aged at that point, FP2 worked. And we ALL know about his mastery of the Mind Trick. As always, ratings, critique and comments are appreciated on this piece; and my others too!

Changed Light Tutor for Jedi Trainer (and made a custom jedi trainer that is identical to the real one except it gives Djem So Style), and raised cost a few.

UPDATE: Removed Force Push, replaced the Master Mind Trick (I didn't realize it was a custom ability when I put it on him) with JMT2, lowered Force points from 5 to 4, lowered HP from 100 to 90, dropped cost a bit.

I think he needs Double Attack. Besides that, it's great! Perfect character representation.

Thanks :) I wasn't sure I should give a 31 pointer to many abilities, but I think I can squeeze double in there.

I think JT should give Soresu. Ben taught Luke Soresu, not Djem So, IIRC.

No force spirit?

^I wanted it to be different from the other Old Ben's, and to keep the cost down.

I figured he needed SOMETHING to represent his Force Spirit, but still wanted it different. I went with Essence (Jedi Spirit is a very cheap version anyway, so it doesn't really ruin the balance; I raised the cost a couple points anyway though). I know the other [Ben Kenobi] has Essence (and turns out, costs the same amount!), but this is still a very different and playable version, with different benefits.

Intuition is good, I'm fine with Force Essence. (plus Noble Sacrifice for a good return ;) Jedi Mind Trick 2 is a good representation. Why such a low fp count? No renewal plus only 3 fp's seems alittle low... Good version I would use this one over the newer V-set version

Now than, I have realized that there may be a problem with Soresu Style in the Rebels. I realize that it Represents Obi's favorite style and him not having mastery shows that his skills deteriorated, not to mention that he did indeed teach Luke that style on the Falcon. (which Luke impressively got the hang of it in practically one lesson). However I do believe that Evade and Soresu can stack, which may or may not be too powerful.

I hadn't thought of that, DW. I have an idea: Make it give Lightsaber Deflect (works the same, they can use the Force point on it, AND he can haunt them to do it more after he dies :D. And, it'll play differently).
