Special Abilities

WotC's version horribly under-represented this character and I wasn't happy with the result of my first Fel custom. This piece really attempts to capture his superior piloting skills and his ability to make other pilots better.

I love his CE. Swarm perfectly represents Imperial Navy tactics. Agreed 100% the WotC version was a terrible representation of arguably the Empire's best pilot. GMA is nice with Tarkin (another squad type I love. crazy commander shooters)

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, Tarkin was certainly on my mind when I designed this piece. Also, he makes a pretty good Dynamic Duo partner to DVLotF.

Oh I forgot that that Vader has Pilot! and another CE giving him Extra. good point! And DL would go a long way to not totally breaking down an Imperial Pilot squad. I wonder if there is a good way to boost Jagged as well from him. Maybe giving Jagged DL as well?

@LB: While I prefer the name of "Swarm", the Gang mechanic is probably the better option.

yeah I agree name-wise, but the adjacency requirement of swarm just seems off.

If you really want to keep the name Swarm how about Improved Swarm +3? I like what you have done with him

Added Legendary Ace but felt something needed to be sacrificed for balance and card space. Though I liked it on this character, Disciplined Leader was dropped. I upped his base damage to 20 to give Legendary Ace more sting. Also, Swarm +3 was changed to TIE Swarm +3 with range 6 as suggested above by Lord Ball. Thanks all for the input!

I made the change from "equal or larger base size" to "pilot, gunner or mounted weapon special ability" in [Legendary Ace]. It applies to all targets but only builds by defeating piloty type enemies. That should keep it in check while being more thematically based.

I don't recall whether I entered this waaaay back in week 38 of the original CCC. I may enter in week 73 of the rebooted CCC.
