  • Unique
  • Melee Attack (Can attack only adjacent enemies)
  • Triple Attack (On his turn, this character can make 2 extra attacks instead of moving)
  • Cunning Attack (+4 Attack and +10 Damage against an enemy who has not activated this round)
  • Sith Hunter (+4 Attack and +10 Damage against Sith enemies)

Force Powers

  • Force 2

Hmmm. Interesting take. I agree that we definitely need an updated Cade. But, just to to throw it out there, anyone within 6 squares of him is really gonna be in a world of hurt. Unleash the Force is crazy powerful as is, but put it on a piece with 120 hp, and look out. I like it though! Great idea.

Yeah, I agree. UtF might be too strong on a toughie with F2FR2.

One of the things that I think helps balance out his Unleash the Force is actually Essence of Life. If you want to use Essence of Life you need to be within 6, but if you Unleash the Force you are going to hurt your ally (who is possibly already deadish) He is also going to burn through force points left and right. That coupled with his cost means, unlike Anakin or Jacen, you have less wiggle room in terms of points for your squad to work with

That only holds true if someone is interested in using EoL and keeping him near friendlies. It's certainly worth the point to just spam UtF as much as possible and use him beatstickyness for the other turns.

Maybe, I guess I hadn't really considered that. Perhaps I will change it to either a Basic Repulse, or Use the Force, I just wanted something to represent his raw Force Potential. I tended to think people would more often use Leaping Assault and try and keep their allies alive and then blow up if need be since that will make him a quick target and he is still going to fall over pretty quick to shooters. (not Anakin Solo quick, but still quick with no MOTF 2) Actually what if I took away Defense, made him a purely offensive piece?

That would probably work quite a bit better, It would make it much harder for him to just sit there and build up ove and over again while spending a fP here and there to stop an attack. I'd drop Defense and maybe raise cost to an even 60.

Though I am loathe to see another Disruptive piece in the NR (ok, maybe loathe is too strong a word) it certainly fits the character. Leaping Assault and EoL are both quite accurate choices. UtF60 is unusual. I don't recall Cade exhibiting this power, but I haven't read the entirety of his source material.

There is a lot of Disruptive in the NR, but it fits Cade so well...I was actually thinking of giving him a version of Anarchist just without suppressing allied CEs. Its been a while since I read the comics, but Unleast the Force was to represent just his raw power in the Force. I remember him doing some crazy things and I'm pretty sure he used something like UtF.

Seems a bit under costed as comparing to similar priced disruptive Kyle, this Cade is far better. I do like disruptive on him, and anarchist would almost fit if you went that route
