Looking at that Jaina (which he is NOTHING like; GMA with Triple is common and does not constitute a similar character), he was a bit over powered, so instead of Shien I gave Reflect, and already had given Riposte instead of Djem So. Bond effects all Kenobi's, but it really only helps the one I want to, and two others (not great ones either), and I didn't want him ENTIRELY limited to that Obi-wan.

I don't believe he used it. I like the 'style' abilities, because they are cool and great ways to make accurate representations of characters, but they aren't essential, and in this case I think just the LS force abilities that do similar things are sufficient.

His SA's don't go together, why have GMA and mighty swing? I think they are incompatible.

It's to make it kind of unique; it's intentional. With GMA, he's more powerful and worth 58, and can do 60 on the move, but with Mighty Swing, he can still have more beatstick type damage output by staying still, so he's more effective, that way you don't ALWAYS want to abuse GMA :) It seems contradictory, but it's tactical and flavorful, kinda like [Quarren Raider] and [Asajj Ventress].

Anakin used Niman Style against Dooku when he fought with two lightsabers. Dooku destroyed the extra lightsaber very quickly, because Ani wasn't enought trained in Niman Style. After the First Battle of Geonosis, Anakin began studying the Form V, especially its Djem So variant. He used Shien Style when fought with the Octuptarra Droids during the Battle of Christophsis.

I actually agree, pegolego, and I like it quite a bit. I did something similar with my Obi-wan on Boga. People had given me the same criticism, which I think was ridiculous. Nice response and a good piece.

The basis of the criticism was that the SA's were incompatible. I am mocking it because it was a ridiculous criticism. Pegolego's right - it adds versatility to a piece to make him that much better.

Yeah, thanks darth reignir. I do think that SOME abilities that appear to butt heads are poor chemistries, but some like Ventress, and (I hope) this one make it more interesting. I saw your Obi / Boga, it's a cool update!

So this is a nice update to the Jaina Solo build. Still kind of broken imho, but hey since only three characters have GMA and Triple, I guess four won't hurt.

It's not supposed to be like ANYTHING. It's to make a 58 point piece to use with Kenobi, JM. Granted, 1 third of the abilities match with those two. The difference is this one is more balanced, and has a need.

You're right, he has 4 attacks and GMA with Jedi General Kenobi, so he is more like Epic Set Windu. So perhaps Vaapad then?

But that's not the only person who can get it, and no not perhaps vaapad :P. Being used with that Kenobi he would be left with 12 attack, the point of making the synergy best with the Jedi Master Kenobi, it helps both pieces, but none become overpowered.

I could see the comparison being made. There are very few pieces that carry the GMA + Triple mantle. Inevitably, you're going to run into that comparison, which I think is probably fair, all things considered. I definitely like the piece though; he's a wrecking ball.

Well, the concept is QUITE different, as that Mace relies on Criticals, and if he gets them (20% chance!), the opponent is in BIG trouble.

Looking at that Mace, this piece is EXTREMELY underwhelming. For 7 points more, Mace has Vaapad Mastery (arguably the most OP SA of the decade) and flurry, renewal 2 so he can use his defensive abilities more often (riposte, reflect AND absorb), 30 more HP, 6 more attack (20 with gowk!) and 22 defense (1 away from the highest, again with access to Gowk).

I'm not saying it doesn't, I just don't see how. Would you mind pointing what I may be missing that could be overpowered? He does have slightly higher stats, but Jaina can be in mandos and get Twin, and is slightly better defensively I think (and has better base offense, which, we've been over that this ani can get +4 from GOWK AND the one he's meant for, but that takes 100+ points of your squad up, and is not nearly as effective as things like LotLS Mace).

A very nice, well rounded piece. I don't think a "style" is always needed on great jedi. Instead of giving the free attack, you are making the user use riposte and that is fine since he has FR1. I like the synergy to Obi, as it stays with the story of Anakin. The synergy invites the use of Obi Jedi General since it would give this Anakin Quad GMA and in huge point games quintuple GMA with windu. Which I think is a bit crazy. All in all I like the piece and I would find myself playing this over other Anakins. Nice work.

A couple of quick notes. First, he needs Unique. Second, while the utility is great, conceptually it is awkward for an apprentice giving his master FR1.

Good point lol. And, that's probably true... I wanted this to have some synergy with Obi-Wan's though, and the RotS Obi-Wan seemed a good fit, and needs Renewal. I don't really have any ideas for something different at the moment...
