Special Abilities

  • Force Lightning 4 (Force 4, replaces attacks: range 6; 50 damage to target. Huge or smaller characters are considered activated this round; save 16)
  • Pawn of the Dark Side (Force 1, replaces attacks: sight; 1 non-Unique ally takes an immediate turn, which does not count as one of your 2 activations this phase; at the end of that turn, it takes 10 damage)

Wouldn't you want to do +4 to saves not -4. If it's -4 a save of 11 becomes a save of 7 even easier?

I don't want to make it for all rolls of the round, that would make things like Sith Sorcery too easy for other pieces. Pardon Cassus? No, this is like Mettle, it is affecting the number rolled. So if they roll a 16, they are actually rolling a 12, just like how mettle adds a +4 to a save (so if you roll an 8, you actually get a 12)

Cool and (relatively) simple design. He really hoses Jedi with SBIJ and FL4. Pawn and DM are nice tricks in his arsenal as well.

A pretty nice piece for the Imps and the Sith! Pawn of the Dark Side and Dark Master will help both factions nicely. His Lightning capabilities are deadly (as they should be) I personally think So Be It, Jedi is alittle too strong.

My alt for "So Be It, Jedi" would be Characters with Force Ratings may not spend Force Points to reroll saves against this character or something to that effect.

Me thinks this might be a potent ingredient for a Storm Commando squad. He can Pawn 2 during his turn to double their damage output, then fry whoever comes in to kill your cloaked commandos.

He can only Pawn 1, Pawn still replaces attacks. Regarldess, it is still a good use for him. The Empire has some decent pawn fodder (Sith not as much though the Meditation Sphere is cool.) But with their Shields and good damage output Storm Commandos are a great option.

I've seen this -1 atk -1 dmg on other custom pieces, what exactly is that about? Anyhow, very cool piece. 9 from me only due to the -1, -1 thing... haven't ever seen that on any real piece and that's the only tiny issue I have with it; otherwise great work man. Everyone else has said what is cool about it so dito!

it essentially means he has no attack or damage rating. It is what the custom does if you select the -- for attack and -- for damage. It prevents weird interaction with him being able to shoot. The other option to avoid that is 0/0 with melee attack, but I don't like that since he can still hit people if he gets damage from CEs.
