Special Abilities

  • Unique
  • Melee Attack (Can attack only adjacent enemies)
  • Double Attack (On his turn, this character can make 1 extra attack instead of moving)
  • Indiscriminate (When this character attacks an adjacent enemy, it ignores enemy abilities and commander effects that prevent targeting and attacking. These attacks cannot be redirected.)
  • Dark Armor (Whenever this character takes damage, he reduces the damage dealt by 10 with a save of 11. Attacks with lightsabers ignore this special ability.)
  • Enraged Reactions (Once per turn, when hit by an attack, this character may make an immediate attack against that attacker if he can)
  • Random Destruction (While this character has Savage, whenever he activates all characters within 6 squares take 10 damage with a save of 11)
  • Savage Rage (Savage Rage - While this character has Savage, he has -2 Defense and gains Force Renewal and +10 damage)

Force Powers

  • Force 4
  • Indiscriminate Rage (Force 1: +2 Attack and +10 Damage until the end of this character's turn. At the end of that turn, make a save of 11. If the save fails, this character gains Savage.)
  • Brutal Strike (Force 1, usable only on this character's turn: This character's attacks cannot be prevented and enemy characters attacked by this character cannot use special abilities or Force powers that respond to this character's attacks for the rest of the turn)
  • Sith Grip (Force 2, replaces attacks: sight; 20 damage)

"Conquer the temptation to create specimens that are superior in every way. The danger of such monstrosities being turned against you is too great." ―Palpatine, from The Creation of Monsters.

"Of all the monsters I have created, I still regard Darth Vader as something of a minor masterpiece. No, he was not an entirely alchemical creation, but he was my monster nevertheless. Even though he failed to live up to his full potential, there was much pleasure in transforming Anakin Skywalker from a bright-eyed, tousle-headed youth into the greatest Jedi killer of all time. Yes, he ultimately turned against his Master, as monsters sometimes do, but that was my fault, not his. Given the opportunity to create Vader again, I would, and with zeal." ―Palpatine

A rampage Vader Kinda similar to Chewbacca, Enraged Wookie http://www.bloomilk.com/Character/369/chewbacca--enraged-wookiee . When he is savage he won't benefit from the traditional CE's but get way stronger in Savage squads. Imagine putting Watto's slave collar on him, now that would piss him off!

Very, very interesting piece. I dig the savage theme for Vader and you have some cool stuff going on. While ER is super cool, original in its application and accurate to the character, I can't help but feel it trumps Djem So and I'm not sure it should. Don't get me wrong, I'm not entirely against it. Lets just say the jury's out on this one. Brutal Strike is fitting (used it on my version) and my early draft also included IR. Savage Rage is neat, but with a name like that I expected some bonus to damage, not Force Renewal.

I was also debating whether Enraged Reactions should be used as a stronger version of Djem So. I figured that Djem has a focus on Strength and relies on technique to counter attack, when in a rage Vaders strength would be much higher and he would rely less on technique (thus not Djem so) but would swing at everyone who hits him (as those who are crazy with rage are want to do) and the Darkside would help him out. Thus it works like a mastery of Djem so, via Darkside rage.

As for Savage Rage I see what you mean, however my reasoning is that the Darkside is fueled by rage among other things thus it would grant him fp's. I thought about making it increase his damage but with a starting damage of 30 plus Indiscriminate Rage and the CE's he would be effected by (Exar's and Morne) I didn't want to put his damage through the roof. How about if i make his base 20 and add +10 damage to Savage Rage?
