  • Supreme OverLord (Commander effects within 6 squares are suppressed. This commander effect is not subject to Relay Orders or Telepathic Insight. The range of this character's commander effect cannot be increased)

Commander Effect

Allied Yuuzhan Vong with in 6 squares gain Jedi Hunter +10 and Droid Hunter. When not benefiting from either of these abilities when making an attack allied Yuuzhan Vong with in 6 squares gain +10 damage

Heres some of the ideas about the special abilities and reasons for them Melee Reach 2 and Poison: Shimrra had a HUGE ampistaff which gave him sufficient reach and had venom way more potent that a normal one. Jedi/Droid Hunter: As supreme overlord of the Vong he had extreme hatred for the 'Jedaai' heretics and the blasphemous droids Sacrifice: I gave a similar ability to my Harhar Priest character, but for a different god. Shimrra (while he believed in the gods) was a fan of the god of war Yun-Yuuzhan, the warrior god.

Supreme Overlord: An ability that I felt he needed for both flavor and effect. With a VERY powerful CE he doesn't need it being spread around by mouse droids and the yammosk and also represents his refusal to listed to the council of vong who often suggested what he should do, and then were subsequently ignored Rival: Shimrra HATED nom, at various times and more than once had a death threats out for him.

The CE represents his ruthlessness at being a Vong supreme overlord, he spreads his word for the hatred of droids and jedi alike and even while not in the presence of them inspires savagery and hate in to his followers.

Thank you very much for with that re-wording. I was trying to get that effect across but ran in to the problem of trying to protect it from future similar abilities. Thanks again singer!

Like others, you've bumped his HP up dramatically but have wisely resisted the urge to include VCA. Overall, this piece feels very unfocused. He's like the swiss army knife of damage bonuses, able to kill Grievous in 1 turn, possibly 1 hit with the right support. He can target and kill his own troops, but I don't see any benefit to doing so. The CE, thankfully limited by SO, would be much more clear with rewrite. The same can be said for Sacrifice (a cool idea, btw). He brings some thematic elements to the faction, but nothing new. I don't see a faction weakness being addressed.
