Jetpack (This character may use Flight. (may not use Flight in the same turn as Overload) When this character is at half Hit Points or less then he loses this Special Ability for the rest of the skirmish.)
Gauntlet Knife +10 (+10 Damage to 1 adjacent target; this counts as a melee attack)
Close Combat Expert (This character gains +3 attack and +3 defense against adjacent enemies)
Overload love for Jango he can use Flamethrower 10, Missiles 30 and Twin Blaster 10 twice or mix them up for some cool combos. Accurate Shot so he can benefit from the new {Mandalore the Resurrector}'s CE, and he can benefit from the Mandalorain captains CE and Gen whorth's CE for some easy access to twin in both factions. Jetpack to give him a more limited version of Flight since he lost his Jetpack twice in Episode 2, It won't work with overload since he would be to busy trying to fly to unloads so much. Any suggestion on were I should cost this guy?
There is a lot of really cool stuff here. I might even lose my marbles during a skirmish trying to decide if I use TB 10 twice, or once and M30, or M30 twice, or M30 once and, and, and...
Okay let's see what I do with Jetpack. Goals are 1.use Flight but not in the same turn as overload. 2. lose flight when this character takes enough damage. 3. after losing Flight there is no regaining it. This is why I went wth wording similar to Nimen Style but with Nimen you can regain it's bonus by healing the character. Adding that after you lose more than half of this characters HP you lose this ability for the rest of the skirmish.
Ah, well in that case, its probably worded appropriately. From a gameplay perspective, it would be easier to allow it to be regained, a la Niman Style (while this character has more than half his HP remaining) but I understand from a conceptual standpoint why you want it to be a permanent loss.
The Overload and his 3 choices are really neat especially with Mobile. and Jetpack is an interesting limiting SA, though not sure about Flying and Overload not being used together. We actually see Jango fly and do stuff at the same time, Boba uses it more like a Jumppack in RotJ.
"We actually see Jango fly and do stuff at the same time" yes but he wouldn't be using his flamethrower and firing of his Missile while flying, maybe one or the other. I want him on the ground when he does most of his attacks, (just like he normally would) but still be able to fly away from a beat stick or over a pit.
I want him to be a mandalorian version of Cad Bane or (ironically) Rex. Powerful mobile shoote. Im thinking for that he either needs more damage or something else that makes him competitive. Would you rather use this guy over {Jango Fett, Assassin}? Right now I don't think I would.
Added Armor to give him some staying power. Decreased HP by 20
My suggestion would be to drop Mobile and twin blasters in favor of Greater Mobile. With Overload and Mobile he's still doing 20 Damage (provided the attacks hit) to each target if he uses twin blaster twice, so the main differences are going to be better consistancy of dealing damage and he becomes a best friend to the Mando Captain.
No, sorry this piece was built around Twin Blaster 10 and Overload they must stay. The boosts your looking at was considered but we already have a great candidate for a GMA double/twin version and that's {Jango Fett, Assassin} plus he's got {Assassin} so there's your damage boost. This guy is about options, Overload combos on the move, staying still and getting upto 4 attacks at 30 damage for 120,(when boosted) or Fly over/away from enemies and still getting an attack. I could just use a custom version of Twin Blaster that does 20 damage and then remove Double, that might clean him up too.
Yeah but like you said would you take this version over assassin (which is 4 points less) - no, My suggestion of Greater Mobile was to clean it up (because you really only lost the option of attack and Missile/Flamethrower), but also made for a more potent attacker. This was also before you added Armor so he really didn't have much going defensively.
Removed Armor (it would stack with Baskargem) and Double attack, added Gauntlet Knife +10 and switched out Twin Blaster 10 for Duel WESTAR-34 Blaster Pistols. upped Def by 1 and restored HP to 120
If it is Duel wouldn't it more be Dueling as in Dueling pistols? But I believe he probably did mean Dual.

yep misspelled. Correcting! Lol Cad Bane didn't get his day until Jango died, if it wasn't for that Jango woulda got most of his missions ;)
how balanced is he? Is the cost still fine?
