Special Abilities

  • Unique
  • Jedi Trainer (At the start of the skirmish, choose an allied character with a Force rating. That ally gains 1 Force point and Ataru Style)
  • Light Tutor (At the start of the skirmish, choose an ally. If that ally does not have a Force rating, it gains Force 1 and can spend this Force point normally; it is considered to have a Force rating for the rest of the skirmish. If that ally already has a Force rating, it gains 1 Force point.)
  • Stealth (If this character has cover, he does not count as the nearest enemy for an attacker farther than 6 squares when choosing targets)
  • Force Bond (An Ally named Luke Skywalker of Dagobah gains Force Renewal 1 and Lightsaber Block)
  • Camaraderie (An ally named Luke Skywalker of Dagobah gains Accurate Shot and Stealth)
  • Exiled (This character may not benefit from Rebel commander effects.)

Force Powers

  • Force 2
  • Master of the Force 2 (May spend Force points up to 2 times in a single turn)
  • Force Renewal 2 (This character gets 2 Force points each time he activates)
  • Levitation 1 (Force 1, replaces attacks: Move 1 Small or Medium ally within 6 squares to any unoccupied square within 6 squares. This move does not provoke attacks of opportunity.)
  • Force Stun (Force 1, usable only on this character's turn: range 6; target living enemy is considered activated this round; save 11)
  • Sense the Future (Force 2: Once per round, after initiative is determined, you may exchange your initiative check with your opponent's initiative check)

"So certain are you. Always with you what cannot be done. Hear you nothing that I say?"

Meant to make Luke Skywalker of Dagobah actually playable, probably no use outside of that but that is the thought

Neat idea and very thematic. A few suggestions: (1) Add Stealth or a thematically similar Force Power to the abilities granted by Force Bond, and then get rid off Camaraderie. I don't see Yoda making a pupil a better shooter, what with Jedi Masters eschewing blasters for lightsabers. (2) Light Tutor should have no effect on an ally with a Force rating. Jedi Trainer covers that already. (3) Attack and Damage values should just be zero, unless there's a game effect I'm unaware of that uses negative numbers.

1) Force Bond only gives force powers, so it would have to be a Force Power that is like Stealth or grants Stealth. I could do cloaked but that doesn't really fit. Yoda is teaching Luke Focus and control, what he does with that is essentially still up to Luke. He was still using a Blaster at this point and was good with it (I think more Lukes need Accurate Shot.) It is not a perfect representation but it is mainly to make that Luke Playable, he is just not great without it.

2) I'm not sure what you mean. I didn't create the ability for Light Tutor, I'm just giving Yoda both training abilities to focus on his role as teacher. 3) the negative numbers are what you get when you put X/X into the Bloomilk creator (see Kol Skywalker, Force Spirit for an example.) Regardless he should have 0/0 no physical piece has X/X only spirits and holograms and carbonited smugglers :D

I think he'd be used with Luke Hero of Endor too - a movement breaker for him would get some play.

It is expensive but that would certainly be an interesting combo. And like you say that movement breaker is probably the biggest boon, though making sure he can go first is also helpful. Also gives him Ataru which helps with his "good in Rebels but could be higher" attack.

Personally I think you only need one Tutor ability, I would go with Trainer, but both might be fun. Stealth on Yoda at this point is perfect, as if Levitation. Force Powers are perfect. As for Cam I like accurate with Blaster Barrage, that would be quite useful as well as the movement breaker from Levitation to set it up. For Exiled is it your intention to leave him open to Fringe CE's? If you are going for no boosts I would make it all CE's. BTW I really like this piece 10!

For Exiled: It is my intention to leave him open to Fringe CEs. I've used it a few times before and its usually on pieces who are associated with or working for a faction but may be exiled for political reasons (Luke in the NR) or personal reasons (Yoda.) So they may not fall into the official command structure, or be "allowed" to take or give orders but they aren't going to actively work against those Factions either (so they would work with Fringers.)

Yoda is working along parallel goals to the Rebels but if Rieekan showed up and told him to do something Yoda isn't gonna necessarily do it. I don't know if there are a bunch of Fringe CEs which help him, but I did want to keep him open to them. I hope that made sense. If I were to drop a Tutor it would be Light.

Very cool build here, love the flavor captured with Exiled! Great piece and looks like a fun piece as well as effective! Very strong 9!
