Special Abilities

Very good though! Savage plus handing out his own leash, very clever. Force powers are a given. Not overpowered but still a beast, and seems well costed. Makes me feel happier in my costing.

My entry for this week's CCC. I'm not crazy about the character and based on my research the Vset team did a very solid job ticking the trait boxes in their offering. So I opted not to radically diverge from their approach but rather offer just enough difference to bring new options to the table. Common are base stats, Twin and SG3. I changed Repulse to lvl 4 for more flexibility and Crushing Blow seemed to fit this brute.

As CM mentioned, I wanted this piece to be biased towards pairing with Maul yet solid without him. To that end, he is Savage (Celeste Morne anyone?) Camaraderie and has Affinity for his bro. The astute eye will also notice he is a DD pair for Death Watch Maul while also having DW himself. Dark Armor seemed to be a glaring omission from the Vset version and his hand-to-hand abilities seemed to warrant Teräs Käsi.

The combo is far less annoying than SSM or Evade/Parry.

Dark Armor/TKS breakdown: melee attack = 1 save 11 for -10 damage plus auto -10 damage; melee attack w/lightsaber = auto -10 damage; non-melee = 1 save 11, -10 damage.

Hmm, just remembered that with Death Watch, he gains +4/+10 from his bro. That puts him at 100 damage output potential. Is that balanced at 55 points or should I look at dropping TKS or DA? Or leave them and lower his defense? He was described as a clumsy duelist so perhaps the lower defense would be more accurate.

I wouldst lower defense. It's a tough balance on 100 or 110 HP but clumsy is my thought.
