Here's my latest take on Octa and a potential entry into this week's CCC. I used Camaraderie to create a sub-faction for Kyp's squadron and felt Squad Firepower was a fitting boost. Wingman helps overcome the negative side of Kyp's CE with careful positioning (ie flying in tight formation). YVH is a situational boost meant to reflect her anger at Miko's death. I wanted her to stay a follower to have access to all Pilot synergies.

Impulsive Vong Hatred is nice and fits her, she does interesting stuff for pilots but its a little hard to tell exactly what she can do without other Kyp's Dozen pieces for reference. And I think this is the first time we've seen Camraderie affect more than just a specific person...it has happened with Force Bond but I don't know how I feel about it with her. You could make it a CE and give her Willing to Serve instead but I don't think that is 100% necessary, just another option to fit to taste. Squad Firepower is a nice pilot ability.

Thanks for the feedback gents. {Kyp's Dozen} currently only applies to whomever is affected by {Camaraderie}. A quick search of potential recipients lists the following: any Luke (w/Biggs), Young AnaSky, Anakin Solo (both versions), Zekk, Corran Horn JM, Kyp Durron JM and Epic Mara. Theoretically, Dash, Chewie, Jan, Winter and Tycho can as well if Light Tutored by Tionne.

The simple way to go about the same result was via CE as you suggest. However, Kyp's CE can be nerfed by the usual suspects, as can that of KlatCap, Jag and the other pilot commanders. Camaraderie gives the Pilot squad some ability to maintain cohesion in the face of Advanced Battle Meditation or Disruptive.

That makes sense and I like that rationale for it, since pilots stick together. (Form Up and Stay Alert! Lock S-Foils in Attack Position) I was more referring to other pieces that might also affect Kyp's Dozen (a new Kyp for instance.)
