This is tough. It is tough because Fallen Depa Billaba fought 100% on par with Mace Windu, so it seems like in that situation she should be more powerful than a 33 cost. But it is just so hard to power scale Vaapad in the game. I love the old school look to her though

Yeah, she probably should cost a good bit more due to Embrace. Can't really justify less than 18 def. Might need to lower her HP or something. ??

I think her cost is fine as is. I was discussing the idea that she might need to be a 50 point piece since the dark jedi version fought on par with Mace Windu. I think her cost for her abilities right now are great.

EoP is probably the only thing I would look at dropping for generic stat boost. Been a long time since I read that book though so it may be fitting

@GG: I was riffing of Wookiee's Legends content. EoP was a (poor) abstraction of her ability to withstand torture and mental manipulation. I could drop it. @All: I'd like her to be able tie up Critdu fairly well (lol), and not be too easily punked by shooters in the process. If I blend bits of Canon and Legends, I might be able to do that, but I'm trying to avoid a loaded card. Hmm...

But was she Really on par with Mace, or was he taking it easy on her? Mace beat Sidious after all (before Anakin turned traitor.)

She was on Par with, but not quite as powerful. Very long battle... if memory serves correctly something else happened for her to be defeated. will have to sharpen up on what happened, been a while.

EoP is always tricky to balance juuuuuuust right but I think you hit the mark here. Here Defense can get pretty jacked but with LSDefense as her only defensive ability and no renewal she does quite cross the line. VSM is nice to see and obviously appropriate for the character. Double and Ambush is a nice touch, and, when combined with no renewal, gives her a bit of old school flair.

As for her fighting "on par" with Mace...yes and no. IIRC, he deemed her blade work during the Shatterpoint(?) novel to be the finest he'd seen. However, I also seem to recall that the general miasma of darkness over the jungle drained Mace whereas Depa seemed bolstered by the darkness she had succumbed to. On neutral ground, I'd put my money on Mace.

Resilient would fit as thematically as EoP and would hobble Critdu.

That is Nar Shadda, something I have not read (but want to) but read up on. It is not her drawing from the dark in that situation. Seems she was pretty blade savvy on her own. As for drawing on the dark, it took her over the top. Mace could not defeat her in that fight, but she was drawing from more dark side powers as people were dying around her, so there's that as well. I wish I had the actual books though
