My solution to the Klatoonian problem

I like VSR, careful shot, intuition and stealth. Although if it specifically a klat solver it could do with cloak. Otherwise it has an accurate bullseye on his head. To keep his cost down he could do without impulsive and the CE. Although he was a warlord, so the CE makes perfect sence.

He doesn't do enough damage on his own to kill a Klat without Reprisal, though. Also, the CE isn't very powerful, so it doesn't hurt the cost. 10, btw :)

Not on his own, but there are any number of CE's that can give him a boost.

The idea is he's a counter that can fit in reinforcements though. You won't always have a damage boost in the squad that effects a Unique Commander

Alright, after hearing your concerns/ideas I have swapped cloaked for stealth, and dropped impulsive in favour of deadeye. Now his attack will be low, but against Klats he will drop them with a 2 or higher.

Okay, in looking at it I think it is unfortunately under costed now. Compare it to the gloom walker, he has 20 less HP, 1 more defense, stealth instead of cloaked and a CE. I know this contradicts what I said previously, but he is going to have to lose something...

I just think this is an upgraded Klat. You pu this in a Talon Squad and you are going to be very very hard to beat. When in a green square you can attack anyone regarding cover and do 40 damage.

Ok changed back to stealth, there are lots of stealth boosters so it won't be too bad. Also he should be better than non-uniques his cost as you can only bring one

Compared to the Gloom Walker Sniper, I think that you could probably spare to give him Careful Shot +6 instead of +4. Giving him a CE is good, as it prevents him from being too powerful with Whorm, and keeping his damage output to 30 is a good idea, as well. Sure, he might be good in a Talon squad, but not significantly better than other, cheaper Reinforcements options, and not significantly better than in other factions (FP re-rolls in Sith, for example).

On the piece itself... I absolutely love the simplicity, and I think that it accomplishes exactly what it is intended to accomplish. Based on that and the information I stated above, I'll rate him a 10. (I'm having difficulty deciding between a 9 and a 10.)
