Special Abilities

  • Melee Attack, Melee Reach 2, Double Claw Attack
  • Force Immunity (Enemies cannot affect this character with Force powers, or spend Force points to reroll attacks against this character or to respond to this character's attacks and abilities)
  • Vonduun Crab Armor 6 (When this character takes damage, it can reduce the damage dealt by 10 with a save of 6)
  • Damage Reduction 10 (Whenever this character takes damage, reduce the damage dealt by 10. Attacks with lightsabers ignore this special ability.)
  • Rend +20 (If both of its attacks hit the same adjacent enemy, this character's second attack gets +20 Damage)
  • Plasma Cannon (Replaces Attacks: Sight; target character takes 40 damage with a save of 16, each adjacent character also takes 10 damage with a save of 11. Characters damaged by this special ability are also Burning. Each time a burning character activates, it must attempt a save of 11. On a failure, that character takes 10 damage. On a success, that character is no longer burning.)
  • Dovin Basal (Replaces attacks: range 6; Move target Large or smaller enemy adjacent to this character, the target character cannot use Shields abilities for the rest of the round. Make an immediate attack against that enemy. This character gets +4 to it's saves against attacks and Special abilities used by enemy character who aren't adjacent.)
  • Immediate Chazrach Reserves (If you roll exactly 3, 8, 13 or 18 for initiative, you can add up to 20 points of living characters named Chazrach to your squad, adjacent to this character, immediately before your first activation of the round)
  • Mobile Transport (This character can transport upto 2 Small or Medium allies who end their moves adjacent to him. Remove those allies from the battle grid; they move simultaneously with this character, have cover, and are considered adjacent to him. They can make attacks, counting distance from this character. A transported ally can return to the battle grid immediately before your first activation of the round. If this character is defeated, all transported allies are also defeated; save 6.)
  • Stomp (Whenever this character moves, any characters occupying squares on its base or squares it moves into are immediately defeated. Characters can avoid this effect with a save of 6.)

Dovin Basal's are hard to represent in mini's as they can do sooo much! Question guys, was this thing Immune to the force like the Vong? I remember Luke using the force on the Gravity produced by the Dovin Basal, but I can remember. Thoughts/Suggestions?

I believe they were. The field made by the dovin basal was completely different, though, which is why Luke could manipulate it. As for the abilities, whoo boy this is a tank!

The Yuuzhan Vong equivalent of a tank so I'm glad I got that right! Thanks for helping confirm the state of force immunity.

Great job, good stats but way overcosted. A maybe 40 damage missile, transport and damage reduction 10/VCA means this guy is going to be resistant to damage, but definitely only 80-100 points tops with little situational offence. Maybe making plasma cannon/Dovin ignore cover so you aren't blasting just a mouse droid would help.

I meant for him to have Stomp too, does that help him reach epic levels? Should I add Accurate Shot then or some ability like High Field of Vision (this character ignores Medium or smaller allies when determining line of Sight)

Yes stomp helps, and I like that. Even wording it similar to the AT-AT
