Special Abilities

  • Destabilizing Attack (Suppresses enemies' Shields abilities when attacking)
  • Vonduun Crab Armor 2 (When this character takes damage, it can reduce the damage dealt by 10 with a save of 2)
  • Dovin Basal (An enemy farther than 6 squares cannot target this character or allies within 2 squares with an attack, except when combining fire; save 16 negates.)
  • Chazrach Reserves 20 (If you roll exactly 5, 10, 15 or 20 for initiative, you can add up to 20 points of Yuuzhan Vong characters whose name contains Chazrach to your squad, adjacent to this character, immediately before your first activation of the round)
  • Invasion (Abilities that modify initiative or that trigger on an initiative roll from any character in your squad cannot be suppressed.)

This one looks tough. It does significantly break with the existing BHC format with 300 HP. I believe existing BHC pieces are all 150HP (+/-10). Do in Basal and VCA2 really give him staying power, too. Base 30, Splash 30 and Burning Aatacks give it solid offensive pop, especially without Melee Attack.

Updated to drop HP to 160 to line up with other BHC pieces, dropped Crush for simplicity's sake as well, want this piece to be a shielded, artillery Chazrach-spawning siege weapon. Still considering dropping mount or destabilizing attack too. Less thematic but simpler

Changes look good. While Mount is cool and very useful, it's a mountain of text and Reserves ticks the same thematic box.

You know, I made one and saw the same "size of a Krayt dragon" but never really understood how big that was till I saw a pic of a Greater Krayt .... I'll have to look at yours & compare ... you're more of a Vong guy than I .....

... and now that I've looked, you have a Very different take than what I did a few years ago. Won't go into details, but you've made yours Much bigger (and more expensive) but it also has more going on. Interesting!

Very interesting... If it wasn't a Vong I would enjoy more of the interactions.... But the fact Vong has everything already, adding more options to them just isn't a good idea IMO.
