Special Abilities

  • Unique
  • Melee Attack (Can attack only adjacent enemies)
  • Twin Attack (Whenever this character attacks, she makes 1 extra attack against the same target)
  • Advanced Drain Force (Replaces attacks: range 2; target enemy character with a Force rating loses 2 Force points and this character gets 2 Force points)
  • Jedi Hunter (+4 Attack and +10 Damage against enemies with Force ratings)
  • Leech Life (When a living enemy is defeated by this character, remove 20 Damage and this character gets +1 Attack and +1 Defense. These bonuses are cumulative. Whenever this character would defeat a living enemy that does not have Self-Destruct, that character is immediately restored to half health and joins your squad, suffers -2 Attack, -2 Defense and gets the following special abilities: Drained Corpse, Speed 4, Melee Attack, Double Attack, Horde +2, Outbreak and Re-Animate. The enemy loses its commander effect, any unspent Force points and cannot use any of its prior special abilities or Force powers. If the enemy had Speed 8, it loses Speed 8 and does not gain Speed 4. A Huge enemy gets Horde +3 instead of Horde +2 and a Small enemy gets Horde +1 instead of Horde +2. This new character sets up in the square that the enemy formerly occupied.)
  • Paralysis (A living enemy hit by this character's attack is considered activated this round; save 11)
  • Rapport (Non-Unique Undead characters cost 1 less when in a squad with this character)

Force Powers

  • Force 4
  • Drain Life 3 (Force 3, usable only on this character's turn: range 6; 20 damage to target living enemy and to each living enemy adjacent to target, save 11. Remove damage from this character equal to the damage dealt.)
  • Force Cloak (Force 2, replaces turn: For the rest of the skirmish, this character gains Cloaked)
  • Sith Hunger 2 (Force 2, replaces attacks: range 6, 30 damage to target living enemy, and remove 30 damage from this character. If the target has Force points remaining, transfer up to 2 Force points from the target to this character.)

Commander Effect

Undead are subject to this effect: Undead followers with Drained Corpse gain +4 Attack, lose Outbreak and do not have to end their turn adjacent to a living character if they can.

"You look tired. Don't fight it. Just give in... you can't win."

Very cool piece! But I think Leech life could be replaced with absorb life energy or drain life energy and then a much simpler "boost/restriction". Right now a defeated enemy would have to change 14 things. Could be streamlined to similar to the Rakghoul where she turns enemies into a template generic zombie that you can then give your special abilities to or else just give that character savage, melee and horde.

Alternatively let her just make a turned enemy have savage/melee and then put in one or two boosts into her CE. As is she is cool but for a 31 point piece she has A LOT of text and things to remember.

Yes, I thought about a lot of these things (and originally she did have Absorb Life Energy as I weighed various options), but I decided to make her similar to my other Undead-related units. This unit is part of my upcoming set, A Galaxy Infested, which all of the pieces revolve around undead or similar units that propagate through defeating their enemies. Rajine is part of the set due to her zombification capabilities, and the fact that she is a rather unique concept as far as pieces go.

Unfortunately, a lot of my pieces are rather wordy, but in the games I have tested them in they weren't too difficult to get the hang of. As for giving the enemy savage and melee, it doesn't quite work for what I have in mind; when I release the set, I'm going to release a supplement that explains all of my choices with the units and will also present a lot of scenarios for people to play in.

That's fair brother then keep at it as is, I always strive for simplicity on pieces as people tend to not like or are overwhelmed by wordy or an abundance of special abilities.
