  • Double Attack (On his turn, this character can make 1 extra attack instead of moving)
  • Stealth (If this character has cover, he does not count as the nearest enemy for an attacker farther than 6 squares when choosing targets)
  • Soresu Style Mastery (When hit by an attack, this character takes no damage with a save of 11)
  • So Uncivilized (Replaces turn; target a character who's name contains Grievous. That character is immediately defeated. Target can resist with a Save of 11.)

  • Force 3
  • Force Renewal 1 (This character gets 1 Force point each time he activates)

  • Master Speed (Force 1: This character can move 6 extra squares on his turn as part of his move)

Commander Effect

An allied character who's name contains Cody cannot have his Commander Effects suppressed; an allied character who's name contains Utapau or Utapaun gets +4 Attack.

On Utapau, Obi-Wan has his climactic confrontation with the fiendish cyborg General Grievous

How do you break a game-breaker? This is my answer :)

Save 6. 11 is to much

His cost also needs to be raised to around 50.

^The whole point is that he's breaking a game-breaker. Doesn't really work if it's both easy to resist him and he also costs too much to be practical.

GGDAC is a very good piece, but not really a game breaker - he doesn't need a hard direct counter. People often opt for the cheaper Whorm in competitive squads. It's also worth noting that the v-sets introduced Bastila Shan, Jedi Master, as a counter to the commander effects that were dominating the game, especially in Rebels.

He needs to cost more. 36 for 50+ is OP. Needs to be save6 or cost 50+

Even without the Grievous stuff, 36 points for a SSM tank is a bargain.

GGDAC is more of a glass commander, great CE that really made Sep enjoyable to play when he was released in the Clone Wars set. He is pretty fragile though, easily taken down by an opponents squad with a few of their activations if your not careful about his placement during a skirmish. They already made a counter to GGDAC, GOWK -Mr.Broken himself. MOT2 is to much for this characters cost, good choice of flavored text though.

@TheHutts and BogaRider: Yep, but this is my sort of "Non-V Set solution" to GGDAC. I am glad someone likes the flavor text at least.

In the face of insistence that he cost more, I decided to cave...a little. He's not going to cost 50, but I will raise his score to 45.

An interesting concept for sure! I get the sense that it may be somewhat undercosted relative to what this Obi brings to the table... Blaster 20 is cool, though the variant "So Uncivilised" for Obi is fun also. Insta-defeating GenGriev, with only LoS? I dunno...maybe range 6, insta-defeat. It is entirely your custom though, I merely provide feedback as concrit in thanks for such an awesome Obi variant. 9.94/10

^Thank you. I appreciate the fair feedback. This Obi-Wan does seem a bit polarizing, but I'm glad some people like him at least. And really, I intend to knock WOTC's other game-breaker minis down a peg also. I'm not picking on GGDAC exclusively (I actually like the figure, just not his being so powerful that other good minis are almost never used competitively thanks to him).

If you're basing this off the movie, line of sight should be changed to 6 squares. LoS/save11 auto defeat + MoTF 2 Soresu mastery is not justified by his cost. 6 squares or save 6 would be a better choice.

^And a lot of other minis are overpowered for their cost. It's what ensured they were the only ones being used by the end of WOTC's run. I think 45 points is a fair price for this figure. But, as a concession, I will likely remove MotF, even though it's against my better judgment.

Hm. Even with a higher cost, and the removal of MotF 2, someone still hated this piece enough to give him a bad score. Yeesh. Tough crowd.

A better solution would be to create an alternate Grievous.

^Who no one would ever play, because GGDAC is so dang good.
