Force Powers

Just as the Yuuzhan Vong had warriors among them trained to hunt and kill Jedi, so too did Jedi under both Luke Skywalker and Kyp Durron become quite proficient in the hunting and slaying of Vong.

I give you, the NR equivalent to the Yuuzhan Vong Jedi Hunter. They're sort of meant to be "rival pieces".

Jedi with base 10 damage is pretty unusual. I like it otherwise.

^Twin Attack is meant to compensate for that. I think it makes sense for a dual-wielder (as this character is supposed to be; I used the Jedi Guardian with lightsaber and sword as his Proxy mini).

Maybe some form of Crab Armor cleaving to compensate for that 10 damage. Or just give them base 20. If not, any decent Vong will Crab Armor that damage to just 10 per hit.

^True, but consider that the YVJH had only 10 Damage and Twin Attack; with this Jedi's Lightsaber Defense he can also negate damage (as his Vongsense means that Force Immunity doesn't work on him).

I ought to stress that, the goal of this piece is that it and the YVJH are evenly matched. I don't want either one to have an overwhelming edge over the other. If there's anything else I can do to keep it roughly even, please tell me.

Vong do have more access to commander effects and damage boosts (Cunning, Shaper, Scarification), but without the v-set Yammosk they're had to utilise.

The worst thing for the Vong, was WotC giving them only 10 damage. A playable WotC Vong squad is almost exclusively Nom bombs. This piece: evenly matched, yes. Playable, no.

^I disagree that it's not playable. High attack, Twin Attack, and Lightsaber Assault should all make him playable. Vongsense and Vong Hunter make him highly effective against other WOTC-era Yuuzhan Vong. So I think he has his utilities.
