It's all good man the stealth 1- bombers are always present. Try to not let them bother you. As is I may swap intimidate for Jam Transmission for a very similar idea without being overpowered. And rapport is good but consider 3 point Sith recruits and in a squad with lost tribe isolationist. It is definitely powerful. Is there any particular non uniques you wanted to boost? You could also change it to rapport for non-unique Sith with base 20 damage

^I figured he'd be helpful to most Force users because he was the head of the Academy. I try to make them most helpful to WOTC pieces though, as this is my "imaginary wave" if you will; my own sequel to Masters of the Force as I would have done it.

This is the best piece of yours I've seen yet. Certainly not broken, but Intimidate is useful enough to play him him even with somewhat low damage output for 30 points. Not letting it work against Booming Voice might not be a good idea, it means that sometimes Intimidate just does nothing, and I think he isn't quite good enough to be used without it. The 15 defense is horrifically low; you give your pieces really low defense a lot. Even in the WotC days, under 18 defense is pretty bad. It's a good design in general, though.

It's pretty similar to Aves, Communication Officer from a recent v-set. I agree about letting it counter Booming Voice.

^But then it completely ruins the pieces that use Booming Voice. I sort of wanted both to be viable. @Echo: Low defense was to keep him from being too OP for his cost.

Squads with Booming Voice can still bring up the commander or a Mouse Droid - it's not really any different that rangeless CEs.

If you bump his Defense to 18, he still won't be OP. He'll have worse damage output and about the same defense as many characters in his price range, including Sith characters, but Intimidate makes up for the lack of damage. But sometimes Intimidate is useless, so he's not an auto-include.

I like the design of this piece! Pieces with tons of abilities are lots of fun, but it's also nice to see designs like this that really capture the elegant simplicity of many WotC pieces. If I offered any constructive criticism, I would second the motion to raise his defense - I don't think Lightsaber Duelist would be a problem with 18-19 Defense, since most pieces that qualify for Duelist already have high attack.

Interesting. However, if your CE is board wide and that commander is in a squad with Booming Voice, you essentially have an unlimited range CE?

^Intimidate already has unlimited range. Doesn't need help from Booming Voice.

I think he's asking about the difference between a board wide CE and a range six CE with Mas. I don't see why you'd affect one and not the other.

^Well, Mas' Booming Voice can't make CEs knocked down to six square range range-less again. Should have probably specified that.
