Special Abilities

  • Unique. Pilot
  • Accurate Shot (Can attack an enemy with cover even if it's not the nearest enemy)
  • Flight (Ignores difficult terrain, enemy characters, low objects, and pits when moving)
  • Double Attack (On his turn, this character can make 1 extra attack instead of moving)
  • Armament (At the start of this character's turn, choose either Deadeye, Missiles 30, or Wrist Cable. This character gains the chosen special ability until the end of the turn)
  • Bounty Hunter +4 (+4 Attack against Unique enemies)
  • Greater Mobile Attack (Can move both before and after attacking. This character can make extra attacks even if he moves this turn, but he must make them all before resuming movement.)
  • Strafe Attack (As this character moves, he can attack each enemy whose space he enters; this character can use Twin Attack when making a Strafe Attack, but he cannot make a Strafe Attack against any enemy twice and cannot move directly back into a space he has just left. This ability is usable only on this character's turn.)
  • Versatility (At the start of the skirmish, after set-up, you may replace this character with another character of an equal or lesser cost who counts as Boba Fett. The chosen replacement gains one of this character's other special abilities. If the replacement's cost is at least 5 less than this character's cost, he also gains this character's commander effect.)

Whoa! Nicely done, sir! I like how Bounty Hunter can't get the CE. Strafe Attack is an excellent pick (imagine that with BH :P). Nice use of Armament as well. I suppose the most likely choices are Bounty Hunter with Strafe or Assassin for Hire with Armament... Way to bite the bullet and go for the big one :P

Thanks! BH was one of them I was afraid of getting left behind. A big part of the CE was so mercenary couldn't get twin from Loathsom, but now AFH can get extra from Tarkin... I see I have some reworking to do.

Definitely a hard call... I wonder if Merc getting Twin is all that bad? He can't get any +4/+10 bonuses in Seps (Talon Karrde/Thrawn)... but he does have Cunning on his own, I suppose. I don't think it'd be that big a deal, though, because you'd have to spam mice everywhere for him to make use of his Intuition mobility and keep Twin. AFH getting Extra... I think that'd be more of a problem, but then you have to ask if it's worth 22 points to give one character one more attack.

I guess I wouldn't be overly concerned about either one of those, but I don't have a lot of experience with Fett, so maybe I'm off. Also, nice call on Pilot, I missed that at first. Opens up the possibility of Rebels getting in on a 90-damage AFH strike. Sweet.

TFU boba mercenary will be very useful with strafe attack... as will RotS 'baby boba".

Strafe is awesome. I have tried to make a boba with versatility for years and I can't do it. I'm very excited that you picked boba for this weeks challenge. Giving strafe to boba BH with Thrawn as an option is scary. I think Boba is by far the hardest Versatility piece to try because you have to think of all the angles because he is fringe. I'll post my try in the CCC forum page.

Thanks for all the feedback! I think I will get rid of the CE, AFH getting extra looks to be worse that Merc getting Twin. Merc could hit like a truck but lacks the survivability of the other Fett's. There might be a reason Imperial doesn't have much in the way of Strafe attacker's, but with all the counters I *think* it'll be okay. (maybe, hopefully)
