Quite potent and I like the boost to Defense but did you mean turn, phase or round?

I did mean turn, but round wouldn't be all that bad. Going with Turn deals with a major pet-peeve of mine. The really good swarm squads are good enough to not die immediately against crowd-control, so crowd-control has become so potent that any sort of thematic trooper build (Clones, Rebel Troopers, NR Troopers) is out the window before it even hits the table. This would hopefully prevent some strafers from being able to decimate your squad in a single turn - kill three Troopers and you got nothing against the rest.
