Special Abilities

  • Accurate Shot (Can attack an enemy with cover even if it's not the nearest enemy)
  • Stable Footing (Not slowed by difficult terrain or low objects)
  • Sharp Eye (Enemies who activate while they have line of sight to this character lose stealth until the end of the round.)
  • Stealth (If this character has cover, he does not count as the nearest enemy for an attacker farther than 6 squares when choosing targets)
  • Recon (Roll twice for initiative once per round, choosing either roll, if any character with Recon in the same squad has line of sight to an enemy)

Sharp Eye is perfect. It's exactly what a "Scout" should have. I think of this guy laying on top of a sand dune looking down his sniper scope observing the enemy and updating the main attack force of the enemy position. Only taking a shot if the moment is right. I don't think this piece needs any adjustments. If I did adjust it and to add to my story of it, it could lose stealth for the round if it attacks. Anyway, (slow clap) well done sir, well done.

The "problem" with creating the perfect generic grunt is he instantly become waaay more expensive than the game can afford. Can you imagine a game where every Stormie or Reb Trooper costs 20 each? Would totally throw off the game mechanics. Having said that. the contest is about creating the perfect beast, so to speak. As Donny said, Sharp Eye is nice and he does what a real Scout would do, but his cost is more like 28; just saying :)

I'm with surf rider56. Besides, this seems more like an elite scout trooper than a generic. Sharp Eye is pretty good though!
