Overwatch is interesting and actually makes game sense however, .... your basic abilities are 15 and overall I cost it at 31 Twin - 5 Speed 8 - 1 Charging - 2 Shields - 3 Overwatch - 2 with the remaining three points being the extra cost for a fifth ability I figured after our work on the cost Excel, I better explain this to you :)

I know the calculator puts it up, but I don't think it would get used else. You are right though, if going by the calc, it would be over 30, especially with a unique "overwatch" ability that would probably cost 4 when in combo with twin.

You could replace charging with wheeled. As over watch and wheeled would still work well together and keep your cost down

Good piece! Overwatch is awesome! In my own opinion, thematically, Wheeled Form seems like it would be more fitting than Charging fire. Whenever I think of Droidekas/DDs, I picture that iconic moment where they roll in, stop, and unfold before laying into their target. Either way, nicely done!

Um... you guys thinking of Wheel Form? Wheel Form is 18 squares if you don't attack. Wheeled is move 18, then attack. Wheeled is Charging + Wheel Form. Just felt the need to weigh in on that :P. Really cool piece though! I should have said something sooner, but isn't Overwatch a little much with twin? Maybe it's not that big a deal with just range 3, but even with a penalty he could be at +12 attack for two 30 damage attacks.

I think of overwatch as AoO with range 3 and some extra stipulations. I went with Wheeled because that's how I see them in the movies. Only in the movies, they fire 4 times and their shots are double barreled so it's like 8 shots. Should overwatch make the droid pass a save first to determine if the ability kicks in?
