Special Abilities

  • Advantageous Cover (+8 Defense from cover instead of +4)
  • Covert Ops Training (If an enemy character within 6 squares has moved this turn, it must attempt a save of 11 before making an attack. On a failure, the attack is cancelled.)
  • Enforcer +10 (This character gets +10 Damage while an ally at full health whose name contains Krennic is within 6 squares)
  • Krennic's Personal Guard (If an adjacent ally whose name contains Krennic would take damage from an attack, this character can take the damage instead. Allies' special abilities with Krennic in their name or text normally limited to 6 squares have unlimited range)
  • Synergy (+4 Attack and +2 Speed while an ally with Krennic in its name is within 6 squares)

Distinctive armor, advanced training and superior marksmanship result in Death Troopers' elite status among the Empire's trooper corps.

Here is my take on the Death Trooper from Rogue One. With this version focused specifically on Krennic's crew, I see a more generic version easily "dumbed down" from here. To encourage use of my forthcoming Krennic, I went with the common Synergy but with the twist of Speed bonus to portray them rushing off to do his bidding. Enforcer seemed a fun, fitting and fresh way to up damage. Advantageous was also chosen for its underutilization to portray the more stealthy nature of their grey armor.

KPG was a focused way to give a bodyguard ability and CE positioning flexibility. Covert Ops is another cool ability that hasn't been used much and fits with the description of this type of Trooper.

My plan was to balance a Trooper feel while using less common abilities yet keeping it relatively simple.

I love Enforcer on them! I can't believe I didn't think of that. And KPG really helps with that too, awesome piece!

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it. It's always good to have a second (or third or fourth) set of eyes look things over.
