ummm. Soresu Style mastery on this piece Barris and GOWK all in the same faction? It will never work. I feel that Soresu Style Mastery should only be for Obi-Wan and Zannah (if it is in the game at all).

I don't think Mastery is a bad thing, necessarily, but instead of mastery to Barris, maybe do like a Cin/Serra combo likeness. IMO, of course. Also she is way better than her WotC mini at only 4 extra.

Mastery is a terrible thing because it is uber powerful. especially with twin riposte. Your wonderful 60 pt beatstick cant hit her and she can hit you back for 40? crazy powerful.

Yes but she can't stop my Shae Vizla double flame thrower at all and with mobile I can scoot away so she can't reach me on her turn either.

Wow! Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I'll have to raise the cost. I'll maybe change the Barriss boost to an alternate Soresu Style? (Regular Soresu is a my biggest pet peeve - it's Evade. There is 0 benefit to having Soresu over evade). I agree that three SSM pieces is a lot, but it's too extreme for a squad - if you run all 3, you have 129 pts of meat shield. You could run Gree and 2 Wolfpacks, or Fett AFH, but you really don't have much space for any actual firepower. That squad would auto-lose against direct damage. Luminara will be fairly force-starved as well.

What would you guys think if I raised the cost to 50, and changed Riposte to Riposte 2? She'll get one or two ripostes at most each game, and that's ignoring anything else she could spend Force on. Barriss does get pretty powerful, but she still doesn't do anything other than not die. 20 dmg on the move; heal 20 is a waste when you should save for SSM; probably her best ability is cannoning Gree for a Death Strike shot. Of course, all that said, I am not against taking SSM off of Barriss; just wanted to explain my apparent fixation on SSM. Your feedback was greatly appreciated :)

I think the soresu mastery on her without built in mettle or mof 2 with limited force points will be alright. I just do not think she should give it Barriss nor does Barriss deserve the mastery.

I think she looks pretty good. Although not counting the CEs she's better then GOWK, not saying that's a problem.

The CE is a little odd to me. Barriss can't CE herself, so Barriss would impact Gree and Gree could only impact Barriss. Put all 3 of them together and you get a lot of cannons

Synergy, Twin and Riposte gives her markedly better damage output than Gowk. Sure, he has the dreaded combo of MotF2 and Mettle but he only deals 40 a round. The build looks pretty good, but it might prove too cheap @ 50 points. Question: Coordinated Command gives Bariss or Gree a free shot so what's the benefit of giving it to them in the CE? Do you intend to change the wording of the CE to include the 2 other characters depending on which of the three is using it? It might be simpler if it gave the owner a free shot while either of the other 2 are within 6?

Sorry, to clarify the CE: I'm thinking Coordinated Combat would be an ability like Synergy or Noble Sacrifice, where the effect of the ability doesn't change, but the specific pieces it affects does. I was implying that Coordinated Combat for Barriss would allow her to cannon Luminara or Gree and CCC for Gree would allow him to cannon Luminara or Barriss. Maybe it would be easier to change the wording to "At the end of this character's turn, an ally with Coordinated Combat within 6 squares can make an immediate attack."

drop synergy altogether. there is no need for her attack to be a 16 or her defense to be a 25 raise it to base 22. keep the twin riposte with force 1 and renewal 1 and needing to reroll soresu mastery saves it ought to be fine. I would also drop the ranged defense expert to Barriss. Your recommended change to the CE works great. Those are my suggestions.

Twin is fine. But if you do go with Double definitely add GMA, if there's anyone who should be able to attack on the move it's Jedi/Sith.
