This looks like a fun piece. Points get tight in YV though. I think you've found a niche for this piece. If it were me, I'd water down the stats since it's a support piece in an effort to drop the cost. I'd suggest 20HP, 16 D, 7 A and 10 Damage. Then I'd drop him to something like 10 - 12 points. But if you want him to be in the fight, leave it how you have it. either way, I like your concept a lot

You may want to rename your tactician ability as currently that's already another ability that refers to boosts or minuses to initiative rolls. Maybe Battle Tactician? And I think he's interesting and well balanced otherwise

Even using Donny's numbers Tactician (and a limited Master Tactician by any other name is still roughly what you have) is an expensive SA, combined with a CE and your battle Orders, its probably more like 23-24. GG is right, you need to rename it too; unless you made it before everybody else, its already been used :)

I misread Tactician. I thought it said "If you roll an 11" didn't see the "over" part. If it stays as is, that does leave your points up. 50% chance of rolling an 11 or better along with the possibility that your 10 or lower could be higher than your opponent is pretty powerful. I think I'd might remove it and add something like tact +2 or +4.

Tactician looks interesting. What's the math on winning initiative between rolling over 11 and under 11 but higher than opponent? Battle Orders is very thematic, offering a way to sacrifice a scrub for a chance to activate a big enemy piece.

thanks for the input. I will change the name and probably the ability. I think you guys did not see the power of giving a piece recon as well mixed with it. I thought it might be too much. I want it to stay below 20 points but higher than 15. I will try and rework it a tad thanks

I just dropped stats down a tad made the cost 16 and gave him Tact +4. I think it is pretty solid now. I like the dam 20 because they were still fighters.
