If you want her to be in both squads you will need to give her affinity. You can probably drop double attack and just up her damage to 20 to still make the 5 SA rule

You're right about it being overpriced. Override is a 4, Cunning & Evade 3's and while Affinity & It's a Trap are only 1's the "penalty" for going from 4 abiities to 5 jumps the SA's alone to 15. You have a reasonably high Def, Attack & Damage. You basically have to decide what gives, otherwise as he is he's 29. 40, 16, 5 20 would get it for example.

It's not as simple as it looks, there are "Levels" that jump exponentially. Example a change of attack from 5 to 7 actually costs you three. 15 or 16 Defense costs 3 but 17 costs 4, etc ..... and don't ask about the math, I'm literally just the one that punches in the numbers. ASk donny, he probably could explain the math better!

Ok so he is overpriced so im going to make him weaker? Maybe there is a wording issue :P So you are saying that he is underpriced and I need to get him back down to 25 points correct? :)

would the reduction to Damage 10 be enough? I assume that damage 10 and damage 20 have huge cost implications.

Cost implications; interestingly enough, no (30 maybe.) Changing 50/18/8/20 (14) to 50//8/10 gives you a base of 13. Using 10 Damage, Cunning + Evade + Override alone gives you 23 (remember I said Override is a 4, Cunning & Evade are 3?) It's a Trap takes you to 24. Only Adding Affinity is 21. Add both its 28 its the 5th ability with your High HP + High Attack. Any attack greater than 4 adds 1 point per higher number .....

With 50/18/8/20 as your base and 4 SA's of Affinity, Cunning, It's A Trap & Override you're at 23. Add Evade, 29. Interesting, isn't it. 3 points for the ability, but the 5th ability penalty jumps it an extra 3. 23 becomes 29.
