Special Abilities

  • Jawa
  • Unique
  • Disruptive (Suppresses enemy commander effects within 6 squares)
  • Deceptive (+10 Damage against an enemy who has activated this round)
  • Aggressive Negotiations (This character is considered to have Diplomat until it makes an attack or is targeted by an enemy character. Characters with Ambush, Backlash, or It's a Trap! can ignore this ability for the purpose of attacking this character.)
  • Jawa Trade Talk (All Jawa (Have Jawa, or have Jawa in the name) characters have their point costs reduced by 2 to a minimum cost of 2. This and other Jawa characters commander effects can not be disrupted.)
  • Reserves (If you roll exactly 1,3, or 5 for initiative, you can add up to 20 points of Fringe characters with Jawa or Tusken to your squad immediately before your first activation of the round.)

Commander Effect

All Jawa characters gain Tusken, all Tusken characters gain Jawa for the purposes of commander effects. All characters that have abilities that remove damage, remove an extra 10 damage.

Might reword the 2nd part of CE to be All Jawa characters. If you get reserves you have likely lost initiative, and that means someone with a grenade or missiles could end up taking out a good number of those reserves. This character supposed to be a strong utility character. To give a unique boost to a Jawa squad with droids etc. The add of Tuskens to this group might help spread out a bit of ability combat wise for this squad.

I think you could clean up jawa trade talk to Jawa Rapport -2 (because that would automatically apply and you can't reduce lower than 3 anyways) and then the second part you can make Camaraderie (Jawa characters gain disciplined leader). Otherwise looks good but the second part seemed like it's related more to healing than dealing damage?

I might just do that, but Im giving the abilities because of the Trade language they use, thus combining 2 good SAs into one because of the unique language. I could see something similar for the Twi'lek Lekku language. I might end up cleaning it up as you state.

yes, it has to do with healing/repair etc. I wanted it to possibly encourage jawa use for repairs and anti droid work, by being able to remove more damage from their own droids, themselves and those with mounted weapons, and also lowering the cost of jawa characters (which are generally already pretty good anti droid characters already).
