Special Abilities

  • Guildmaster (Unique allies with Bounty Hunter who start their turn adjacent to this character, may ignore the Diplomat special ability of enemy characters)

  • No Disintegrations (Damage dealt by critical hits cannot be increased. Commander effects and special abilities that trigger based on a critical hit or the attack number rolled are suppressed.)
  • Bounty Hunter +2 (+2 Attack against Unique enemies)
  • Fringe Reserves 30 (If you roll exactly 11 for initiative, you can add up to 30 points of Fringe characters to your squad immediately before your first activation of the round)

Commander Effect

Droids are subject to this effect: Whenever a character in your squad with Bounty Hunter (including this character) defeats a Unique enemy they may make an immediate attack against another Unique enemy. All attacks against an enemy targetted via this effect suffer -10 damage.

Ironically seems like he is hurting uniques more than helping haha. But Guildmaster is sweet, I would change the CE to just unique bounty hunters to keep I line with the theme but otherwise looks pretty slick.

Only the enemy ones :P. I figure the guildmaster would only send those that have "made a name for themselves" after those high profile (diplomat) targets! I've been tossing around whether to add unique or not to the CE, but I kinda like the guildmaster being able to use it too, so I don't know.

Guildmaster is very cool and I sure like that CE. No Disintegrations is a wise choice. Reserves is meh but overall this is a good piece.

Thanks, I'm taking more and more of a liking to this design myself as I think about it. Reserves is there to simulate sending in (more) Bounty Hunters it's not a big part of the design, more for flavor than anything, but it certainly could be a nice perk.

No disintegrations is the price for that awesome, effects droids CE i guess, which is a nice balance. It will go well with Zann Consortium or Black-Sun subfaction theme squads. I would reword the CE to be clearer though: in the rulebook, delete and replace the clause of 2nd sentence with: "All bonus attacks made against a Unique enemy via this CE, are made at -10DMG" rather than the extant "-10DMG to all attacks this turn" giving an enemy piece essentially DR10... otherwise, an awesome piece. thanks LordBall!

Is that better? I want to make it clear that a twin attacker suffers the -10 to both attacks.

awesome lord ball, that's what I figured, though it would suck had some folks split hairs and wheedled for an effective DR10 hehe.
