(This includes as long as they end their turn within 6 squares of each other.))
  • Melee Duelist (+4 Defense when attacked by an adjacent enemy)

Force Powers

  • Force 2
  • Force Renewal 1 (This character gets 1 Force point each time she activates)
  • Force Sense (Force 1, usable only on this character's turn: Enemy characters lose Stealth for the rest of the round)
  • Force Push 3 (Force 3, replaces turn: range 6; 30 damage to target and to each character adjacent to that target, and push back target and each character adjacent to that target 3 squares if Huge or smaller)
  • Force Weapon (Force 1, replaces attacks: +10 Damage until the end of the skirmish)
  • Force Heal 30 (Force 2, replaces attacks: touch; remove 30 damage from a living character)
  • Absorb Energy (Force 2: When hit by a nonmelee attack, this character takes no damage with a save of 11. Remove damage from this character equal to the prevented damage.)
  • Essence of Life (Force 2: When a living ally within 6 squares would be defeated, that ally makes a save of 11. On a success, that ally has 10 Hit Points instead of being defeated.)
  • Force Meld (Force 3, replaces turn: For the rest of the skirmish, this character gains the following Force ability: Allies within 6 squares with a Force rating and a lightsaber may use this character's other Force powers as though they were their own)

Ok, so I read the book (20 odd years ago) and I didn't remember her. I read Wook and I have questions. Did she even have a lightsaber? I don't remember Dathomirians (or nightsisters) ever actually use them. Why not just make her a melee duelist? Regarding the FP's since I can't remember and Wook doesn't say much, where did all the FP's come from? Some make sense (Weapon, Sense, Heal) but the others don't, although I'll give you that since she's the clan mother, she's probably the most powerful .... whether its "legal" you'd have to ask GG; it's His pick this week ....

Very right on the lightsaber, the other abilities I gave her was make her a great leader, more than a combat specialist. With abilities not normally seen on jedi or sith. (as well as abilities that would possibly be primarily only for those that are sith or jedi). I see her as a counterpoint to Talzen. Whom would be an arch enemy, equal in power, but not necessarily in the same way.

As I commented in the CCC, the sheer number of Force powers she has is BHC/Epic level, but then, hindsight, she doesn't have enough Force to use all of them...so, I kinda overlooked the difficult choices. Hmm... minimum 1 more starting Force would let her turn on Meld at start, and then still be able to use Absorb Energy if she gets into LOS. Lotta points for a piece you'll want to keep hidden (against juiced-up shooters) yet she needs to be close to use some of her best goodies.
