Special Abilities

  • Disruptive 12 (Suppresses enemy commander effects within 12 squares)

Commander Effect

Whenever a Unique character or a character with a Commander Effect is defeated, this character and all followers gain +1 attack and +1 defense. Allies and enemies are subject to the following: Whenever a non-unique character rolls a 1 during an attack or a save, that character is automatically defeated, all other non-unique characters gain +1 attack (this bonus stacks).

I might aught to reword it, any commander effect that exists on the board.

Political Intrigue should make him cost at least 60. Although as worded, it cancels his own commander effects, including the one he steals. (Edit: never mind... Political Intrigue has been changed.)

So an ability that cancels certain SAs (that are handed out, if the character had say, Opportunist, it is in effect, he just cant hand opportunist out) and all CEs is worth 40 points? I could simply word it, all other CEs as his (in my opinion) is a negative.

PI sounds broken. This character auto suppresses every Tier 1 level Commander? Yoda? Palpatine? That's 148 unique commander's including pretty much every epic?? Borsk might've been a sneaky SOB but I don't think he was That good. Maybe a Disruptive that's ranged 12?

And just have something else ignore that disruptive making the point of him having it useless? We go back and forth with abilities (ability, then counter ability, then counter to the counter, then counter to the counter to the counter). I create something that negates all of them, for everyone, and now that is broken. What this guy does is make everyone keep what is on their card.

AND he has a negative CE. In the end he is a hard to use character with the right squad, that can only be good in very few squads. I might just make his CE the PI ability, and make ALL non unique characters subject to it.

Clearly I missed some changes haha. Only thing I would consider is shifting part of PI back into his CE and getting rid of one of the boosting abilities because right now you have potentially two different sources of +1/+1 for all characters, if your opponent has RS Vader or Leviathan it will start getting hard to keep track of which boost has triggered. For simplicity's sake I would say make it Unique/CE characters getting defeated that triggers a +1/+1 as I don't like the idea of an epic or costly huge getting auto-defeated because of a bad save roll.

The current CE on the other hand is very Borsk and should stay. Would also fit well with PI if you made it just +4/10 against commanders

If you keep the roll of 1 from non-unique I would make "that cost less then this character" or something because if someone is playing a huge that costs 50 and rolls that 1 and loses 25% of their squad it would be such an NPE. Rathtar is another example (although it hardly ever will see play)

Jen'ari has a good point, please consider that change to be made!!!!!!!!! I cant right now as for some reason it wont let me, when i go to change the CE it is listed as a Custom Force Power. It is very odd. I will keep trying.
