Special Abilities

Tricky stuff. Evade can be picked up, so you can be hit by a non-adjacent attack make the evade save, make the counterstrike safe and attack back for 60. I feel like twin attack is too much with base 20 and opportunist

I went back and forth on Twin. With low HP and a save needed for Counterstrike, this piece may die in one shot so I went for it. It's as much deterrent as it is actual damage output. Evade would require a second save and thus hot rolling. I honestly wish I could easily prevent this guy from gaining Evade.

It may die, if it fails its evade save and the character can deal 50 damage in one attack... Or it can take 0 damage and hit back for 60.... It is possible for Vindicated to shoot three times and die from this character's Counterstrikes is all I am saying.

All true. It's a gamble for both players. I can drop Twin.

Or you can drop base damage to 10 than have 40 back. I am digging the counterstrike, evade, swap combo I, personally, just think it needs to be toned down somewhere. Anyone else have thoughts?

Hmm, dropping base damage to 10 and keeping Twin is an interesting option.

I always feel like cloaked should be reserved for actual cloaking devices but there is precedence for it, other than that for stealth I think he is pretty epic

I didn't have a 3-sided coin to flip when voting, lol, so I just wanted to say this design and its sniper counterpart are really cool, and I'd like to see something like them made in the v-sets to flesh out a sub-faction (Spec or otherwise). Good stuff!

Thanks swinefeld. I appreciate the input. This and the sniper really are best considered as a pair, as you implied. I'm pretty happy with the end result, which is not always the case. :-D
