Special Abilities

  • Droid Reserves (If you roll exactly 1 or 20 for initiative, you can add up to 20 points of non-Unique Droid characters from any faction to your squad, adjacent to this character, immediately before your first activation of the round)
  • Damage Reduction 20 (Whenever this character takes damage from a nonadjacent enemy, reduce the damage dealt by 20. Attacks with lightsabers ignore this special ability.)
  • Sandcrawler Activation (This character activates a total of 4 times turn a round. Each time it activates it counts as one activation per turn. This character can choose any action below any number of times in a round (but not exceeding 4 per round).)
  • Sandcrawler Move (Costs 1 Activation: Move this character 2 squares. This character ignores difficult and hindering terrain while moving.)
  • Sandcrawler Industrial Repair 30 (Costs 1 Activation: choose 2 characters with Mounted Weapon that are adjacent to this character, both characters remove 30 damage.)
  • Sandcrawler Repair 20 (Costs 1 Activation: choose 3 Droid characters that are adjacent to this character, remove 20 damage each from the 3 chosen characters.)
  • Sandcrawler Repair Crane (Costs 2 Activations: choose a character that has Mounted Weapon or Droid whose base entire falls within 6 squares of this character. Remove 30 damage from that character. This ability may be used to repair this character, but the ability can only be used in this manner once per round.)
  • Sandcrawler (BIG target) (This character cant choose the Sandcrawler Move action more than 3 times in a single Round. This character gets -4 to save rolls, but ignores abilities that force it to switch sides.)

Setting Attack/Damage to Blank will make them dashes. As interesting as this is I'm thinking it probably shouldn't cost more than 50, I could be wrong, but it doesn't seem to have a lot going for it other than being a repair monster (and in many respects rightfully so).

Hahaha well shoot I was going to repost my sandcrawler. Awesome stuff here! So epic. Can it use industrial repair on itself? If not I would add it for some survivability and theme.

Ok, added Machinery, keeping it. Added 2 new abilities that I came up with after first submission. Those 2 new ones are on the bottom. Thoughts, questions suggestions, changes etc? Thanks!

OHH, still not sure about the price on this thing either. I had it at first creation at 100, and was like....no...just..no way no. changed it to 75. Im gonna hold on to it at 75 for now, but im thinking it may be like LB says at 50 or so. Love to have Surf's input.

I thought the scale for this and 40k/legion was around 1:44 or 1:48 Kobay? (thats for terrain, and models etc for vehicles etc)

Well .... That's a Lot of abilities .... and frankly, a Lot of them seem more scenario based than SWM based (specifically almost All the Sandcrawler abiities.) You could also streamline things; Walk 2 (1 activation: Move up to 2 squares) is how the ATAT moves. Just change Sandcrawler Move by changing Walk 2 to Crawl 2 .... and Frankly, gamewise, everything after Sandcrawler Move is just window dressing for anything other than an RPG game .... just sayin ....

Wow... This is a lot to look at. I am not quite sure what it does to be honest. And, as stated, other than a scenario, I don't see a squad to fit this guy in.

Hard to rate as it's not viable for a standard game (maps make it WAY non-viable) so will just reiterate, an all-Colossal CCC (with a correspondingly appropriate map list) could be great fun. That aside, this is flavorful and funny. I like it!

Well when i submitted the piece i was specific to state it wasnt for a standard game. THe ccc didnt state it has to be for a standard game. Also the theme is Tatooine, this hits the mark.

True, and I didn't intend that as criticism, just that I'm have a hard time weighing stuff like this or Pit of Karkoon against the "normal" pieces. See my first comment. :)
