Someone who doesn't yet have an appearance in our game but is a major character from the show. Vambraces are a tricky thing to design as going the armament way can compound complexity so instead opted for a defensive buff. But they are a very complex item designed to help a Mandalorian stand toe to toe with Jedi so I focused on only three aspects of the weapon: shields. flamethrower, and the repulser.

I just noticed when Mandalorian Vambraces trigger, two things happen that may not be intended (Or maybe they are!): 1) You can take a hit and target a different unit. This might lead to odd interactions with pieces like an allied momaw setting up a push into a pit. I don't know if they are thematically intended to be a reactive defense, but if they are that doesn't quite fit. 2) If you tried to use the ability against an adjacent enemy, Fenn would suffer damage from the splash.

Yea... I agree, MV seems a bit odd as is only because of potential interactions.

I'd separate Flamethrower into its standard ability (like what we've seen with Jango and Boba) and then make Vambraces focus on the shields/repulsing parts. I'm thinking something like "When this character takes damage from an adjacent enemy, reduce the damage dealt by 10 and push the attacker back 2 squares. The attacker can avoid this effect with a save of 11."

Why the damage for Vambraces? And it should probably have a save 11 for the movement at least. He's not Wonder Woman... (or is he o.0 )

I literally copy pasted and toned down counter push and stapled on a damage reducing ability. The push was a pretty powerful blast so I figured 10 damage would be appropriate and not a big deal these days but I can make it just the push. Taking away the damage and putting a save on is too much I think, maybe one or the other?

The thing about counter push is you have to pay force points for it, so some form of modification seems like a good balance with the added damage reduction.

Somehow it occurs to me that Pilots should also all have the Flight ability ... otherwise they're just ... infantry with an added skill set ... just an observation as I read all these pieces ....

Well not all pilots have jet packs Surf haha. And fair point LB, added a save 11 for the movement.
