Multiple Personalities is such a cool ability! I like that it is powerful and unpredictable, and forcing the player to adapt. It also adds interesting interactions with recon or an enemy MTB.

Ekwesh has multiple personalities like most of his species. In the wraith squadron novels, there were two core personalities that would take control in combat. One was his "pilot mind" which was insubordinate and aggressive, and the other his "scholar mind", which was calm and analytical. Part of his character development was getting all the personalities to cooperate with each other.

Interesting that's for sure, might be hard to fit him in a squad, being he may play very differently on each init. Could be quite fun though!

I can see it now ... you set him up thinking "A" personality ... and then you get "B" ... could be quite messy ... and you're right, not knowing how he'd play may make him not worth the 22 ... what did you cost That ability?

Honestly, I never use a formula for cost or abilities. I just go with what looks/feels right. As for getting the undesired personality, that's part of why he also has his passive Synergy boost to his fellow Wraiths (which also fits in-universe, as he was morale officer and in charge of PT), so a bad roll is not a total loss.

I think it would be neat if you could fit him into a squad with Ganner or someone who can move him. Place him in a good spot for shooting, but with room to charge with a levitation assist. Both of his personalities are incredibly strong for 22 pts, so as long as the squad can adapt him to the situation he could be a powerful asset.
