Special Abilities

  • Emplacement (Cannot move or be moved. Set up anywhere on your half of the battle map.)
  • Vixus (Does not provide cover. Not subject to commander effects. Does not count as a legal target for enemies farther than 2 squares away. This character treats characters up to 2 squares away as adjacent for the purposes of attacking and making attacks of opportunity. This character can make attacks of opportunity against an enemy character that moves into or out of a square within 2 spaces of this character.)
  • Melee Attack (Can attack only adjacent enemies)
  • Double Attack (On his turn, this character can make 1 extra attack instead of moving)
  • Clamp (An enemy hit by this character's attack takes +10 Damage and cannot move this round; save 11 negates)
  • Toothed Maw (At the end of this character's turn, he may immediately make an attack against an adjacent enemy affected by Clamp for +14 Attack and 30 Damage.)

Relatives of the Sarlacc, Vixus are native to the world of Umbara. Appearing as harmless vines, these creatures seek to ensnare their victims and draw them into their tooth lined mouth.

Very nice Oakel! Actually a better Sarlacc. I approve

I think fringe would be a better choice of faction.

Thanks GG! Kiki, tell me how you see it working better. I chose Separatist solely as a thematic element, but if you think that it would improve gameplay, I'm open to adjustments.

Its more of a cinematic accuracy, as according the all-mighty wookieepedia, Vixus' are 'non-sentinent' creatures, so I doubt they would be able to do the formalities to pledge allegiance to the seppies.

I was more going by the Clone Wars show- where the Separatist Umbarans seemingly maneuver without these disrupting them at all. Likely not through any allegiance to the vixus, but I would assume because the separatists know their planet and the idiosyncrasies of the wildlife. I made them Separatist to reflect that they were on a Separatist world that seemed to be much more of a difficulty to the Republic than their own kind. Its not like any group of people could recruit a vixus like you could a bounty hunter.
