I'm not familiar with OR era jedi but I know this guy! He is that cool old fellow with the hood and the yellow lightsaber!! Great representation man, very accurate. Only thing don't Old Republic troopers have some kind of ability that makes them count as soldier? If they do maybe you can sort out the CE.

Thanks for the feedback! Yep, I'm a sucker for the epic last stands. The OR Troopers do have "Soldier," but there are a handful of Troopers that don't count as Soldiers (Vanguard, Army of Light Trooper, etc.). Many of the Soldier boosts say "Soldier or Trooper," so I thought I'd keep it for consistency.

Cheapest OR Trooper/Soldier is 4pts (OR Rookiee). That's comparable to the Tantive IV Trooper- Noble Sacrifice is better than Heroic Stand since it doesn't have to be defeated by enemy and within 6 of enemy, and any OR ally can make the attack. Carth dropping 80dmg every time you kill a grunt is pretty scary. And on top of that, they get Escape Death.

I would try to tone down the CE so it isn't so powerful, perhaps turn Noble Sacrifice into Heroic Stand or drop Escape Death. Also, I might lower his Defense a tad- 23 is already quite high and he has Forward Commander as well, so you can't hit him and if you hit his friends they kill you back.

Thanks for the feedback Gandalf. I can drop the defense, but my intention had been to make sure he's one of the last pieces left in your squad, but can still be in on the initial action. Can Noble Sacrifice trigger before Escape Death? It's certainly not how I had intended it. Either way, I modified the CE a little - probably still needs to be toned down, but it's better. It now prevents spamming deathshots unless your opponent is also playing the numbers game.

No, Noble Sacrifice is resolved after Escape Death/Avoid Defeat, so if they make the saves no one gets to attack. Looks good now. Reading up on him, he was among the last handful standing on Bothawui, so I guess the high def/Forward Commander fits pretty well since it achieves that purpose.

That is a fantastic commander effect!
