Cool idea here, one spelling error test of the skirmish to “rest of the skirmish” but fun idea to race and gain your team. Would it still count as points for your squad if an enemy attacked and defeated this character?

Since I am designing it the piece would count only for those that gain the piece in the skirmish. So if Imperials gain the piece and NR kills it. NR gets the Gambit.

Makes sense and when they are in gambit and no one has gained them but they get defeated by an area attack they still count as your squad points until an enemy gains them right?

I'd say no. The army that they are on is essentially playing with 196.
