Commander Effect

Jedi allies' commander effects normally limited to 6 squares have unlimited range. Allies within 6 get +4 Attack and +4 Defense.

Yoda was the first Jedi to take the title of High Jedi General of the Grand Army of the Republic when he led the first battalion clone troopers against the separatists at the Battle of Geonosis.

Does the first clause of Yoda's CE apply to Yoda? (IE, effects limited to 6 are unlimited range)? Other than that, an awesome HQ choice that id consider importing to Starwars 40K tabletop. = )

Hrmm. That's a darn good question. Any thoughts?

My understanding is that a CE does not apply to the Commander on whom it is printed unless specifically stated. See Clone Commander Bacara as an example.

Lightsaber Lunge is pretty cool. Reminds me of his Clone Trooper dispatching on the steps of the Jedi Temple.

Thanks, saber1, for clarifying the CE. That's kinda what I thought, but wasn't sure. BTW, that scene at the Jedi Temple was exactly what I was thinking of for LL.

Yes, saber1 is correct. He doesn't count as his own ally.
