'Mother' was a Rakatan entity imprisoned in an unnamed Space station in the unkown regions. The experimental Jedi/Sith Hybrid clones created by Grand Admiral Thrawn were drawn to it believing it to be the saviour and cure for thier fatal genetic illness.
