Empire Strikes Back is a great piece of work... The most beautifully shot SW film there is, great plot twists, Luke trains to be a Jedi and the emergence of Yoda... With all that said I can't help but choose the film that is my favorite. The one that holds the most sentimental value to me. The Best Star Wars film has to be:

A New Hope!!! I grew up watching that film! For many years to me that WAS Star Wars... I watched at least 3-4 times a week, and quickly had it memorized before I even saw ESB or RotJ... The PT came out after I was out of Highschool but it reignited my love of the SW universe...

#1 Empire
#2 A New Hope
#3 Return
#4 Revenge of the Sith
#5 Attack of the Clones
#6 The Phantom Menace

#7 Honorable mention: Star Wars Holiday Special-Never saw it, but heard it was worse than Phantom
Menace. Nothing says Christmas like being back home at Kashyyk.

And the Maul/Jinn-Kenobi LS battle is one of the best scenes in SW.

But yeah I assumed that all the oldies (Flapper ) here would vote for the latter three films while the younger ones of us might vote for the first three (In numerical standing.)

Just a couple more days left to vote and throw your two cents in.

It does seem that Empire Strikes Back has taken the win, mostly because of the huge gap it has as the leader...

Bumped.
