Do you have any favorite white metal bands? I've listened to black metal before haha, but not as many of the religious bands.

They also have a sister station The Blast FM which is Christian white metal and hard rock.

My absolute favourite white metal band is Demon Hunter. They have a pretty unique sound with some slower melodic bits and some very heavy songs. Especially their two latest albums are excellent.

Check out these songs:

Someone to Hate
Life-War
Storm the Gates of Hell
Heart of a Graveyard
I Am a Stone
Fading Away
My Heartstrings Come Undone (randomly on the resident evil 2 movie soundtrack??)

Anyways they are excellent workout/life music

Time to bump this.
Without comment other than that this group is/was local to me. Family band, great people, bluegrass and vocal harmony is the best.

@swinefeld;
you're everywhere dude, "That guy"
chances are, it's Hothie or Swinefeld [rofl2]
I swear that's half of how Star Wars Minis has been played everywhere

@all, benign bump;
just had an awesome Bloomilk chat about SWMinis and music so,
VASSAL-Trek minis and VASSAL-SWMinis.
thought I'd stop by this classic thread.
I've found a lot of awesome music thanks to the chats from Bloomilk and at Github etc over the years.
particularly indie power-metal etc.

My Discog / SoundCloud and SONOS have 'what's playing now" (and includes the RSS/Metacast stream for where I find various things,
from folks who play original composition or neat covers etc).
I collate various compilations for those, and, I am part of the sound folks at NMM on various mods (for games etc)
I do the H.264, H.265 and AGIXML meta embedding for the sound engineering in those so,
its fun stuff.

I do compilation comptrolling cue for stuff like Rekkert's "Stage 9" etc,
and, 'music for SCIFI / Machinima", for folks to make their cartoons or their games etc,
to know that royalty free, low-fee options exist for them to DJ/Remix.

I have random samplers;
I have a separate radio-stream that is just, randomly selected music for that 30Second burst
that I can then go back to play whole song or find all of that artists' associated stuff,
its "The Random Sampler Channel" BigGrin
at the moment, "Death Metal" / "Power Metal" and PowerGlove etc floateth the boateth
with some Tenacious D etc.
though, orchestral, classic, folk music, R&Bluegrass, Country etc,
its more of a case of "what don't we listen to?"

woohoo! @kezzamachine,
always with the awesome, and metallic, one-upsbeingship.
Catchy and speaks to the mood of the moment after antics and "The Slog" at work,
ya know?
