C-3PO, Ewok Deity for being one of the most discussed figuresin the whole game LOL .

Definitely the Mouse droid. Who needs Mas Amedda when you can use "Mouse-Amedda" and the best part is it's fringe!Laugh

I was thinking the same thing...ah well. They all come from a long time ago, so it doesn't matter when they showed up in our little galaxy.

First, I would have to say GOWK because he completely changed the entire Meta. Since his banning it would then go to Reiken. I think everyone is falling to remember when Wedge came out he was hailed as the greatest mini ever. With that in mind Reiken does the same thing as Wedge plus recon and is 9 pts cheaper. While mouse droids are good they really didnt change the meta all that much. Look at the top squads how many have functional mouse droids in them?

BING!!! That's why I voted for him myself. The game right now is completely based on range, and for 14 points, Rieekan lets EVERYONE in your squad nerf said range. There isn't one Rebel squad, hell, any competitive squad that could pass him up. For about the cost of three stormies, every last non-Droid/Savage gets protection from shooters. That's WAY too good IMO. So I think Rieekan's the best mini of 2009.

As far as most significant, it HAS to be GOWK. He turned into a plastic lightning rod for discussion that still continues today and made us really think about the fine line between good and broken and where we really stand on banning minis.

mouse droid and R7 and both game changing fringe pieces, and totally tied in my book.

Perhaps the starter set was released last year but many of us see the Starter set as being part of the Clone Wars set (even if its not) and because Clone Wars is included in the poll that would indicate that the starter set should be as well.

If nothing else GOWK was BANNED this year which means we could base is "most significant" status not on his arrival which is normally the case with minis but instead on his departure.

2 words..........Rex Rules!!!

Love his character! Woot

I get the feeling the mouse droid issue is going to get ugly,I hope not, but I get a sinking feeling it will. It sounds like a way cool mini, but I get the feeling this will be abused somehow. I hope I am wrong though, for the games sake.

The uggy demo is cool too, but when you see a squad with 10 of them and 10 mouse droids and only 2 or 3 other high point characters, it's like come on man how about some creativity. Just my 2 copper coins.

Mouse. It's a sad thing that Roger, Roger doesn't apply to mice. (big sigh).

Rex,Gowk,Yodabuck,GG Dac were in 08.
So I would say Rieekan,Gen Skywalker,Dash RS,or Gen WL.
The UC/C would be R7,TBSV,BattleMaster or Mouse.
Common would be Senate Commando or r4.

I might even say the TBSV was the best of 09.

Not bad choices at all. Still, I'm not sure the R4 belongs. The treadwell droid kind of outclasses the R4 for only 2 points more. Unless you are strapped for points, I think the Treadwell is a better buy. Of course the Treadwell is a bit harder to find than the R4.

The TBSV is a great choice too. Great shooter with a great CE.

Mouse droids helps some factions, but I don't know how anyone can vote for that over General Reikan.

You pretty much answered your own question. Mice help multiple factions, if not every faction. Rieekan helps the Rebels and only the Rebels and is probaby a tad too close to the the big B-word for some people to like him.
